Oasis’ US tour dates for next year have been announced. While exciting, the news comes as a surprise as it has been about 15 years since Oasis fans last heard from the band, thanks to the long-held feud between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher that has now been put to rest.
The band blindsided its fans with the announcement of its reunion tour last month. According to the announcement on Monday, September 30, the band will tour North America in 2025, and they hope people will come out to support and show their love.
“America. Oasis is coming. You have one last chance to prove that you loved us all along,” the band announced.

American rock band Cage the Elephant will open. Presale registration is open and will remain that way on the band’s website until Tuesday, October 1, at 8 a.m. ET. Meanwhile, the general ticket sale will begin on Friday, October 4, at noon local time via Ticketmaster.
The tour starts in the US, but the band plans to tour other continents outside Europe and North America in 2025.
Oasis’ UK Tour Did Not Go Smoothly
Last month, Oasis toured the UK. However, the experience left many of their fans frustrated. While they attempted to get tickets, they were met with error messages, hourslong online queues, and dynamic pricing—the quick rise and drop of price due to demand.
Fortunately, they have devised ways to ensure that does not happen with their US tour. According to a spokesperson for Oasis management, “Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing model will not be applied to the forthcoming sale of tickets to Oasis concerts in North America.”
The spokesperson explained that the tour generated unprecedented ticket demand and that Ticketmaster could not keep up. “We have made this decision for the North America tour to hopefully avoid a repeat of the issues fans in the UK and Ireland experienced recently,” the spokesperson said.
When Did Oasis Last Play in North America?
The last time Oasis played in North America was in 2008 on the “Dig Out Your Soul” tour, where they performed in 10,000-20,000 capacity arenas. The stadiums on their upcoming North American tour will accommodate between 45,000-80,000+ fans.
What Is Oasis’ Biggest Concert?
Oasis’s biggest concert was at Knebworth in 1996. Over two nights, they entertained 500,000 fans, playing to 250,000 people each night. It made the concerts one of the biggest in the history of Britain.
That they could pull such a crowd is not shocking. The Britpop band were one of the most successful bands of the mid-90s. Their album “What’s the Story (Morning Glory)” was the biggest British album of the decade, selling 22 million copies worldwide and 5 million in the UK.
What Caused Oasis To Break Up?
Oasis broke up because of the antagonistic relationship between guitarist-songwriter Noel and singer-sibling Liam. The band was formed in Manchester in 1991 and is known for hits like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”
Singalong rock choruses and the on-stage chemistry between Noel and Liam fueled its sound. Unfortunately, the group parted ways in 2009 when Noel Gallagher ended things with the band just before a performance at a festival near Paris. However, long before the dissolution, Noel and his brother had an antagonistic relationship.
“People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer,” Noel Gallagher wrote in a statement at the time. The brothers haven’t performed together since, but they both regularly performed Oasis songs at their solo gigs.

Now they are back, promising fans who turn up at their concerts a show filled with “spark and intensity” that fly only when they appear on stage together.
What Is Oasis’s Most Successful Song?
Oasis’s most successful song is “Wonderwall,” which they released on October 30, 1995. In April 2022, the track was certified six times platinum. This means it sold over 3,600,000 copies in the UK alone.
The song has garnered over 2.09 billion streams on Spotify, while the two iterations of the official video total over 1.02 billion YouTube views.
