Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow’s son Moses Martin may be another star in the making. The 18-year-old recently showed off his singing talent during a performance with his band, Dancer. This month, a clip of Moses rocking with the group at the Mercury Lounge in New York City started making rounds on social media. The footage captured Moses dominating the stage as the group’s lead singer.

In another video shared on November 9, the group covers The Strokes’ “Last Nite,” they hit all the notes of the rock group’s 2001 single. While his talent is a pleasant surprise, his mother has always known about it. In April, she hinted at Moses’ musical affinity in a birthday tribute post she shared on Instagram.

“I admire how deep you go into areas that interest you, becoming an expert in synths from the 80’s and the French new wave,” the proud mom wrote. “There is such a magnificent world of ideas and harmonies inside that beautiful head of yours.”

Perhaps in time, the boy can polish his talents and start putting out records like his father, Chris, the frontman for the famous group Coldplay, which has been performing since the late ‘90s. As for his career, the British singer previously discussed what comes next for the band.

Our last proper record will come out at the end of 2025,” Chris said on BBC Radio 2 in 2021. “And I think after that we’ll only tour. And maybe we’ll do some sort of collaborative things, but the Coldplay catalog, as it were, finishes there.”

We were all afraid he did after a hilarious video emerged of him in a New York tattoo parlor. The prince sat down with renowned entertainer Jelly Roll as he agreed to get his first ink. The video, which surfaced on Instagram, sparked both positive and negative reactions. Here’s how the Prince Harry tattoo drama unfolded.

Only a few people were aware, but the prince was going to shoot a promotional video for the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 closing ceremony. His team chose the tattoo parlor owned by country music star Jelly Roll. Interestingly, Jelly Roll was to headline the event and the video was to announce his participation in the February 16, 2025 show.

In the clip, Jelly Roll pretended to give the Duke of Sussex a tattoo, drawing gasps from the public in the process. Notably, members of the royal family are forbidden from getting inked.

In the clip, which was posted on the Invictus Games Instagram account, Prince Harry visited East Side Ink, Jelly Roll’s tattoo parlor, which has hosted a number of celebs such as Bruce Willis, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., and Ruby Rose.

At the beginning of the video, someone asked Prince Harry, “Take a look around, can we get you anything?” The Duke replied, “No, I’m alright. Is he going to be here any time soon?” referring to Jelly Roll. Prince Harry then sat in the customer’s chair for a moment before Jelly Roll emerged.

“Hey, hey! Tattoo! Speaking of! What’s up! I’m such a fan, dude,” the musician exclaimed. “Do you know I could not believe it when they called me and told me Prince Harry wanted to get a tattoo today? They wanted me to give him his first tattoo? That is the coolest thing ever,” he added.

At this point, the prince looked stunned as he realized that the musician had put on his gloves and was ready for work. Noticing the look on the Prince’s face, Jelly Roll clarified his mission. “We’re giving you a tattoo about the Invictus Games.” But Prince Harry disagreed. “No, I came here to ask you to do the Invictus Games. There’s no tattoo in this. I can’t get a tattoo!” he stated.

Jelly Roll then began to bargain, offering to do the games if Harry agreed to get a tattoo. “Alright, screw it, let’s go,” the prince responded. The musician then proposed to draw on the neck before Harry jokingly stated, “I was thinking the lower back or on my a*s.” But Jelly Roll insisted on the neck, and the neck it was.

A while later, as Jelly Roll drew the tattoo, Harry began to challenge his competence. He also expressed surprise at the tattoo’s size wondering if his original idea wouldn’t have been better. Jelly Roll then assured him that a bold tattoo on the neck represents “commitment” and would best fit into the spirit of the Invictus Games. Prince Harry added some more comedy by looking terrified while he got “tattoed.”

The Origin of the Invictus Games

The Invictus Games is a project Prince Harry put together to help inspire recovery for injured and sick military men and women. The games also serve to create awareness, understanding, and respect for the participants who have sacrificed a lot in the service of their respective nations.

The seeds for the project were planted in Prince Harry’s heart during his return from deployment in Afghanistan. Harry who served in the British Army for ten years, climbed to the rank of Captain. As he headed home from the Middle East country, he observed the coffin of a Danish soldier being lifted for repatriation alongside some injured British soldiers.

According to the Invictus Games Foundation, “That moment had a profound impact on him.” Another defining moment was when he attended the 2013 Warrior Games in the United States. He witnessed how sports could be a powerful tool in lifting the spirits and bodies of wounded servicemen and servicewomen. That was when he finally made the decision.

“Invictus” means “unconquered” and the Invictus Games logo, “I Am,” came from a popular poem. William Ernest Henley, in his poem Invictus, wrote, “I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul.”

Gladiator 2 LA Premiere: Look at How the Stars Popped Out on the Red Carpet

A captivating display of fashion artistry is one way to describe the “Gladiator 2” LA Premiere, which had some of the who-is-who in the entertainment world showing off their fashion creativity. From Lewis Hamilton and James Charles to Connie Nelson, there was more than enough fashion statement to feed the eyes. Even the legendary Denzel Washington didn’t disappoint.

After months of anticipation, the November 18 premiere of this blockbuster movie took place in Los Angeles. As expected, it didn’t disappoint. It was a carnival of mind-blowing and classy outfits from start to finish. Let’s take a look at the high-profile attendees and how they slayed during the event.

For most of the guests, the urge to dress up in Gladiator-inspired attires was simply irresistible. But thank goodness they did. The men absolutely killed it. For example, Lewis Hamilton came in an armless suited vest similar to the arm-revealing look of the Romans. James Charles put on a golden breastplate-style outfit similar to those of Roman soldiers.

Interestingly too, many of the female stars put on Greek goddess-inspired dresses. These included gowns with flowing skirts. A notable example was Connie Nelson in her chic black gown that had a floor-length sheer skirt. Chrishell Stause turned head with her revealing red two-piece gown.

Other stars included Irish actor, Paul Mescal who came in looking gentle and graceful in a plain black suit. The red carpet was also blessed by one of the biggest stars of the movie—Denzel Washington. The 69-year-old actor put on a simple all-black suit as he and his wife, Pauletta put on their usual big smiles. Other celebrities in attendance included Brittany Broski, Carmella Rose, Asia Monet, Alexis Ren, and Manila Luzon.

Where Is the “Gladiator 2” Premiere?

The “Gladiator 2” Premiere was held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. The movie is set to hit the screens on November 22, 2024. The much-awaited movie is a sequel to the blockbuster “Gladiator,” which was released in 2000 and starred Hollywood darling Russell Crowe.

Russell Crowe showed up for the second one, playing Maximus while Joaquin Phoenix was Commodus. Newcomers include Paul Mescal who played the character, Lucius, a slave who under the guidance of his ambitious handler became a gladiator. The respected veteran, Denzel Washington played the handler, Macrinus.

The movie is set in ancient Rome after Maximus triumphed over Commodus in the arena and carved his name in the history books. After some years, his nephew, Lucius, is in captivity and has to prove himself in the Colosseum. Lucius is also seeking revenge for the death of his wife.

The movie is rated R as a result of its graphic images and adult language. Other casts include Pedro Pascal as Marcus Acacius, who must watch his back after he killed Lucius’ wife. There’s also Connie Nelson as Lucilla, Fred Hechinger as Emperor Caracalla, Derek Jacobi as Gracchus, Joseph Quinn as Emperor Geta, and Rory McCann as Tegula. The movie is set to become a box office hit, given the high anticipation it has attracted from even beyond the United States. Analysts are projecting revenue of up to $80 million in the domestic market. This is despite widespread concerns that it might lose some attention to another promising movie, “Wicked,” which is set for release on the same day.

Where in Africa Was Gladiator Filmed?

There aren’t many movies that give us an almost perfect representation of ancient Rome like “Gladiator.” So, little wonder the movie did so well back in 2000. The first “Gladiator” movie ended up grossing over $465 million at the box office. The popular Hollywood movie also bagged numerous high-profile awards, including five Academy Awards.

One of the factors that provide quality depictions is location. So, with the sequel set just 16 years after the former, the directors knew just what kind of place could provide a realistic movie. Among the spots chosen was a location in Africa. Director Ridley Scott wasn’t ready to take chances, so, he ran back to some of the locations that served him 24 years ago.

These locations were Fort Ricasoli in Malta and Devil’s Dyke, England. But the one which many people talked about was the location in Africa. Northern Africa to be more precise: the Ouarzazate in Morocco. This is an amphitheater made of wood, where he filmed Mescal’s fight with a baboon.

The Ouarzazate sits on a plateau in the southern regions of the Atlas mountains. Around it are thick, sandy landscapes that continue into the Sahara Desert.

Why Is Russell Crowe Uncomfortable With Gladiator 2

Although “Gladiator 2” has enjoyed so many positive reviews, a number of notable voices haven’t liked it. One of them is movie critic, Patrick Smith and at the initial stage, actor Russell Crowe. Smith believes that it was rushed and poorly acted.

For Russell Crowe, he didn’t feel very at home with the idea of a sequel when he first heard about the plan. Speaking with a podcast host in June 2024, he stated that he felt “slightly uncomfortable” with the idea.

“A couple of things that I’ve heard. I’m like, ‘No, no, no, that’s not in the moral journey of that particular character,” he explained. Although Crowe might not hold these views anymore, Smith believes that his initial reaction was something.

According to Smith, the movie deviates from the first one in a number of disturbing ways. One of which is that it paints Crowe’s Maximus as a little bit of a villain when it presents Lucius as the result of his extra-marital affair with Lucilla, who was played by Connie Nelson.

Dwayne Johnson Speaks on the Empowering Message “Moana 2” Has for Young Girls

Dwayne Johnson was a part of the “Moana 2” cast but is looking forward to its premiere just like many other Disney fans. The actor, in a recent interview with E! Stated that the upcoming sequel to the 2016 animated Disney film will go far, mainly because the central theme speaks directly to young women and girls.

“I think that the main thing about ‘Moana’ is this idea of female empowerment,” Johnson said during his conversation with E! News at the New York City premiere of his movie “Red One” on November 11. The former WWE wrestler believes the animation’s message is for everybody, “even if you’re not part of Polynesian culture.”

“It’s this idea that what people like to do—especially to young girls—is kind of constrain them,” Johnson continued, “and pretzel them into, ‘You can only be so much.’ But in ‘Moana 2,’ you can actually be anything you want.”

Notably, Dwayne Johnson reprises his role as Maui in “Moana 2,” an opportunity he was glad came his way again. The 52-year-old couldn’t pass up the offer because he never really hung up his hook after the first installment.

He believes Maui has done “his best to empower Moana to look beyond the reef. “Whatever it is you want to do, you can do it,” he added of the film’s message.

Another reason Dwayne Johnson is so proud of what they have accomplished in “Moana 2” is because of the amount of work the cast and movie crew put into creating the masterpiece.

Johnson has already seen “Moana 2,” and he is satisfied they accomplished what they were going for. In the past, he teased how hard the cast and crew worked on the sequel, telling E! News, “We went for it.” According to him, the general sentiment was to make the sequel as great as the first installment. To do that, they doubled down on what the new movie could be and really went for it.

Another reason he is happy about what they accomplished with “Moana 2″ is how it makes him feel as a girl dad who wants the best for his daughters. The actor is dad to daughters Jasmine, 8, and Tiana, 6, with wife Lauren Hashian, and daughter Simone, 23, with ex-Danny Garcia.

The pair first crossed paths on the set of “The Game Plan” in 2006 but they didn’t start dating until the following year. They were in a relationship for 12 years before eventually getting married in 2019.

Will The Rock Appear in “Moana 2?”

Yes, Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, will reprise his role as Maui in the hit animation. The famous actor has been working on his singing skills not just for “Moana 2,” but also for the live-action version of the franchise, where he’ll portray Maui once more.

He has even been known to practice in front of his fans, noting the “number one” request he often receives from them is to sing a few bars from Maui’s “You’re Welcome.” “I’m going to sing in keys that don’t exist,” he joked, “but I think we got a shot.”

Speaking on his daughter’s name change, Barack Obama said his warning triggered her decision. “I was all like, ‘You do know they’ll know who you are.’ And she’s all like, ‘You know what? For Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter, Suri Cruise, it wasn’t an amicable affair. Reports have it that the actor’s relationship with Holmes and his daughter has soured. Suri Cruise went by Suri Noelle at her high school graduation earlier in the year. Noelle, being her mother’s maiden name.

Her actor mom appeared for the ceremony wearing a beige dress consisting of a collared jumper. She also put on silver heels and brown sunglasses. Suri, the star of the show was dressed in white. Katie Holmes’ who had Suri when she was 27 has since been divorced from Tom Cruise. The former couple got married in 2006 but cut ties just six years later in 2012. It was widely reported that Holmes ended the union to protect her daughter from Tom Cruise’s religion—Scientology.

Although Holmes gained primary custody of their daughter, the court allowed Cruise lots of time to visit. However, reports making the rounds suggested that he rarely did. This is likely the cause of the friction between father and daughter.

Shiloh Jolie Pitt

Another case of a celebrity child dropping their surname is that of Shiloh Jolie Pitt, daughter of Hollywood greats, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Shiloh didn’t wait long after her 18th birthday on May 18 to apply for a new name. In July, a legal notice of hers appeared on the pages of the Los Angeles Times.

This notice appeared four weeks before her court date as stipulated by California law. It also read that she wanted to change from Shiloh Jolie Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. Although the reasons for her actions weren’t stated, it was likely connected to the ongoing divorce drama between her parents.

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016. Although a judge declared them legally single in 2019, the divorce process hasn’t yet been completed. There has been a fierce contest between the couple over custody arrangements over Shiloh and their other children, Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.

What Is Shiloh Jolie Pitt’s Gender Identity
