Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow’s son Moses Martin may be another star in the making. The 18-year-old recently showed off his singing talent during a performance with his band, Dancer. This month, a clip of Moses rocking with the group at the Mercury Lounge in New York City started making rounds on social media. The footage captured Moses dominating the stage as the group’s lead singer.

In another video shared on November 9, the group covers The Strokes’ “Last Nite,” they hit all the notes of the rock group’s 2001 single. While his talent is a pleasant surprise, his mother has always known about it. In April, she hinted at Moses’ musical affinity in a birthday tribute post she shared on Instagram.

“I admire how deep you go into areas that interest you, becoming an expert in synths from the 80’s and the French new wave,” the proud mom wrote. “There is such a magnificent world of ideas and harmonies inside that beautiful head of yours.”

Perhaps in time, the boy can polish his talents and start putting out records like his father, Chris, the frontman for the famous group Coldplay, which has been performing since the late ‘90s. As for his career, the British singer previously discussed what comes next for the band.

Our last proper record will come out at the end of 2025,” Chris said on BBC Radio 2 in 2021. “And I think after that we’ll only tour. And maybe we’ll do some sort of collaborative things, but the Coldplay catalog, as it were, finishes there.”

Laken Riley’s Murder: Authorities Reveal Her Last Text Message With Her Mom Before She Went for a Jog

Footage from the Laken Riley’s murder case showing her final moments has been released. Riley was an Augusta University nursing student last seen alive jogging on the University of Georgia campus around 9 a.m. on February 22.

She vanished shortly after, and the next time she resurfaced, she was dead. Her body sported “visible injuries,” pushing authorities to suspect foul play. Laken Riley was 22, and is remembered as a loyal friend who “lit up every room she walked into and brought a smile on everyone’s face.”

Details the Footage Revealed About Laken Riley’s Murder

Tuesday, November 19, was the third day of murder suspect Jose Ibarra’s trial for Laken Riley’s murder. During the trial, prosecutors played footage of Riley jogging on campus just before her disappearance. A police mobile trailer camera set up in the area captured the footage. Prosecutors also shared Riley’s last text during the proceedings.

“Good morning,” Riley’s message to her mother around 8:55 a.m. on February 22 reads, according to a UGA investigator who read the message in court. Then she added, “…about to go for a run if you’re free to talk.” She then called her mother eight minutes later; however, there was no response. According to prosecutors, Riley called the police at 9:11 a.m., but the call ended abruptly.

911 dispatchers tried to reach Riley but failed. Her mother also returned her call at 9:24 a.m. but she did not answer. Riley’s mother started to get worried, and many other family members tried to reach her, all to no avail.

“You’re making me nervous not answering while you’re out running,” her mother wrote in one text message. “Are you OK?” Unfortunately, Laken Riley’s body was found later that day in a wooded area near a lake. Authorities who found her claim her clothing was “heavily manipulated,” with some articles of clothing looking pulled and stretched.

Who Is the Laken Riley Murder Suspect?

The suspect in Laken Riley’s murder case is an immigrant named Jose Ibarra. He was arrested on Friday, February 23, and charged with several offenses, including murder, kidnapping, and assault, according to online court records. However, he pleaded not guilty.

Stated that the upcoming sequel to the 2016 animated Disney film will go far, mainly because the central theme speaks directly to young women and girls.

“I think that the main thing about ‘Moana’ is this idea of female empowerment,” Johnson said during his conversation with E! News at the New York City premiere of his movie “Red One” on November 11. The former WWE wrestler believes the animation’s message is for everybody, “even if you’re not part of Polynesian culture.”

“It is with a heavy heart and my deepest sadness, surrounded by her family and friends, Rita passed away peacefully and quietly on November 14, 2024,” the post reads. Rita Carrey was a Canadian singer who was able to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry while embracing her brother’s larger-than-life figure with humor. Late Euphoria Star Angus Cloud’s Personal Items To Be Auctioned for Charity

Angus Cloud was a special character who played a beloved role in one of pop culture’s hit shows. His character on the show, Fezco, was loved by all around him and so was Cloud in real life. Now, those he left behind have come together to honor him by auctioning his things for charity. After all, one of the things Cloud was known for in his neighborhood was his charitable nature.

“Well before Angus was making good money, he made a habit of supporting his fellow street artists, musicians, writers and pranksters and regularly brought food and other essentials to people living in the streets,” says his mother Lisa. Here’s all we know about the auction.

Details of the Auction

The late “Euphoria” actor was blessed with charisma, love for art, rap music, film and a knack for thrift shopping. To honor him, his family and friends decided to auction his favorite items and clothes including those he wore on “Euphoria,” at Julien’s Auctions and donate the proceeds to his favorite charities and his memorial skate park in Oakland.

“100% of money raised by this auction will be used to honor Angus’ spirit by continuing to provide support to the artists and projects he gave so generously to during his lifetime,” his mother has said. The auction began on Friday November 14. It will remain open until Thursday December 12, both in person in Los Angeles and online as part of the Hollywood Legends collection.

It also features items formerly owned by Laurence Olivier and Bob Mackie, and stuff from movies like “Dirty Dancing,” “The Wizard of Oz” and the hit TV series “Friends.” Cloud’s personal set will be offered in the sci-fi, horror and action section.

The Auction Will Include Things Angus Cloud Owned

Over 20 items from Angus Cloud’s life and career will be sold in the auction. One of the most expensive items on the list is his 18K rose gold skeleton wristwatch from Ralph Lauren. It is estimated between $20,000 to $30,000.

Other items include a Burberry suit he wore to the Revolve Social Club in Los Angeles on March 3, 2022, his white and gold-tone Louis Vuitton Shadow Square sunglasses, a Ralph Lauren fleece, his Los Angeles Raiders hoodie, which is estimated at around $500-$700, a Gumby pendant, a Rockstar racing helmet (owned and signed by the late actor), and a Polo shirt that made an appearance in his 2022 campaign.

“Angus gave whatever he had to help his friends and support outside artists in his community in any and every way he could. The proceeds from this auction will be used to continue Angus’ generosity to the people and projects he believed in,” Lisa said.

According to the proud mother, they decided against setting up a non-profit entity to receive auction proceeds because of the rules governing how and whom they can give the money to.

“Angus didn’t give to institutions, he gave to individuals he believed in,” Lisa said. “Angus also regularly went to encampments where unhoused people were gathered to offer food and gifts that he thought might make their day a little brighter. We will continue that offering.”

Also up for auction are his Jordan 8 University of Oregon sneakers, and his Jordan 4 Retro SP 30th Anniversary Union Taupe Haze sneakers.

Where the Funds From Angus Cloud’s Auction Will Go

Some of the funds raised through the auction will go towards building Cloud Park, a memorial skate park next to the late “Euphoria” star’s’ high school in Oakland. An acre of land will be turned into a skate plaza to honor Cloud.

This is possible if they reach their goal to raise over $2 million through a GoFundMe campaign and the auction. All the proceeds from Cloud’s auction will be collected via an account distributed by a committee of the late actor’s friends. The donations from the fund will also be tax deductible.

What Caused Angus Cloud’s Death?

Angus Cloud passed away at 25 on July 3, from acute intoxication following an accidental drug overdose. Cloud rose to stardom overnight with his portrayal of Fezco, the drug dealer with a big heart, on “Euphoria.” However according to those closest to him, he had no desire to be famous and just wanted to be himself.

With the auction, Lisa believes others can honor her son, cherish his memory and continue his legacy. “I always knew he was special and I’m so glad the world also found out he was special,” Lisa said in 2023. “My son will always shine bright.”

Why Didn’t Angus Cloud Play Mac Miller?

In a January 2022 interview, Angus Cloud explained why he would never play Mac Miller in a movie. According to him, he decided against taking the gig because he did not want to relive the late rapper’s life.

“I mean, no, I don’t think so,” Angus told ETalk while discussing the subject. “Taking on someone’s whole life and becoming that person like, how much respect you have to give them to actually try to portray them. You know?”

All About Disney’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2

Fans are looking forward to “Percy Jackson” season 2, which is scheduled to return in 2025. Not only is it a great franchise with an exciting storyline, but fans have been promised the second season, based on the book series by Rick Riordan, will be “bigger and even better” than its first.

It will be developed from Riordan’s second book, “The Sea of Monsters,” but the author has revealed a desire to separate the Disney+ show from the old product already out there. This includes 2010’s “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief” and 2013’s “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.”

“It was a very conscious decision that we said, ‘Okay, we’re not going to deal with the movie stuff,’ ” Riordan told PEOPLE. “I don’t want anything to overshadow the new young cast and take away from them.” Riordan hopes this way, the young cast will have room to breathe and channel their characters without worrying about filling the shoes of those who came before.

What “Percy Jackson” Season 2 Will Be About

In “Percy Jackson” season 2, we join the demigod and his friends as he confronts “The Sea of Monsters.” In the novel, Percy is forced on a dangerous journey to rescue Grover, who was captured by the same Cyclops who once held Odysseus captive while on a quest to find the god Pan.

The upcoming season is expected to mirror the plot, seeing Percy return to Camp Half-Blood, where he navigates various changes, including his evolving friendship with Annabeth and the discovery of a Cyclops sibling.

Riordan has also promised that season 2 will extensively explore the characters’ backstories through flashbacks. He says this will provide viewers with a richer understanding of their histories.

“The beauty of doing ‘Sea of Monsters’ on the TV screen is that all those little stories that Annabeth tells us about her background with Luke and Thalia in the book aren’t just stories,” Riordan said. “You can see them happening in her flashbacks.”

At D23 2024 in August, Riordan revealed some key elements from the book including Grover’s wedding dress and the growing romance between Percy and Annabeth will appear in season 2.

Who Is the New Character in “Percy Jackson” Season 2?

Season 2 will include plenty of fresh faces, including Daniel Diemer, Tamara Smart, and Andra Day. Diemer will play Tyson, Percy’s Cyclops half-brother, while Smart will portray the role of Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus. Meanwhile, Day will play the goddess Athena, who is also Annabeth’s mother.

Disney has announced that Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Schaal, and Margaret Cho will bring to life the Gray Sisters. The trio were initially introduced in chapter 3 of the book. Veep’s Timothy Simons will also join the cast as Tantalus, Chiron’s temporary replacement at Camp Half-Blood.
