Naomi Campbell will be featured on the cover of Harper’s BAZAAR’s September 2024 Icons issue. In an accompanying interview, she talked about her two children, whom she believes is her “biggest blessing.”
Campbell revealed the arrival of her daughter in May 2021 and a son in June 2023. And unlike many other women have done since time immemorial, she did not require a man to become a mom. Also, since she welcomed both her kids, the model and reality show host has avoided mentioning their names, revealing their birthdays, and posting their faces.
What Naomi Campbell Thinks of Motherhood
The supermodel revealed in her interview with Harper’s BAZAAR that her children are “the biggest joy.” “The biggest blessing is to have these two innocent, beautiful souls and for me to be able to be their mother. I learn a lot each day. They’re good kids,” she added.
Campbell also shared how having children has impacted her movement. She said, “I definitely don’t take them from New York to London for a two-day shoot. That’s too much, but my kids love to travel. They must have known!”

She also said during the interview that she’s happy being a “single mother” and expressed weariness at how “young girls” keep saying they don’t want to have kids or that it’s “too expensive.”
Campbell said, “I have said, ‘You will change your mind. You will want to be a mum.’ I understand economically, it is tough. But my mum had nothing and she made it work. It’s worth it. It is so amazing.”
Naomi Campbell Welcomed Her Kids Via Surrogacy
In June, Naomi Campbell confirmed in a sit-down with The Times that she welcomed both of her kids via surrogate. The doting mom also opened up about the “fear” she has for the future in the story.
“My babies are everything to me. It’s made me fear for the future,” she quipped. “I hope for a better world for my children. They are 110 percent my priority. I have to be there for them on their first day at school.”
Campbell barely shares details about her children. However, in February 2022, the model told Vogue that her daughter “wasn’t adopted — she’s my child.”

Naomi Campbell is not married. Over time, she has been romantically linked to various men, and while some made it to the engagement stage, none have led to marriage.
