A source close to Margot Robbie has revealed that she is seriously getting ready for motherhood as she spends time in Los Angeles ahead of her baby’s arrival.

Margot Robbie Has Kept Busy Even as a Pregnant Woman
Nobody is probably looking forward to seeing the newborn more than Margot Robbie. In fact, sources close to her claim she is even pacing herself with work as she gets ready. “Margot absolutely can’t wait,” one insider told PEOPLE. “She’s usually one of the hardest-working actresses in Hollywood. She seems to enjoy some downtime from filming now, though.”

Still, between hospital visits in L.A., the talented actress has “still been working a bit,” says the source, who is now convinced Robbie enjoys “staying busy.”
The movie star is currently working on several projects, including “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” with Colin Farrell and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. She also has some joint ventures with her hubby, including a production company named LuckyChap and their recently launched gin brand, Papa Salt.
Regardless of all they have going on, Robbie has carried her pregnancy with grace. A set source even informed PEOPLE in July that “no one” on the set of “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey “suspected that she was pregnant.”
Has Margot Robbie Confirmed Her Pregnancy?
The “Suicide Squad” alum left no doubt about her pregnancy when she showed off her baby bump on September 9 at an L.A. screening of LuckyChap-produced movie “My Old Ass” alongside director Megan Park, actress Maisy Stella, and fellow producers Ackerley, Josey McNamara, and Bronte Payne.
On becoming first-time parents, a source revealed in July that Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley have been wanting to start a family “for quite some time.” “Family means a lot to both of them, and they knew early on in their relationship being parents was something they really wanted,” the source said.
Is Margot Robbie Still Married to Tom Ackerley?
Yes, Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley are still married as of 2024. The pair tied the knot quietly in 2016 and are now about to become first time parents.
How Did Tom Ackerly and Margot Robbie Meet?
Tom Ackerley and Margot Robbie first met in 2013 on the set of the film “Suite Française.” At the time, Ackerley was working as an assistant director, while Robbie was an actress in the film. Before they became lovers, Robbie and Ackerley got along as close friends.
Their relationship started in 2014, but they initially kept it a secret. Not long after they met, the pair moved in with a group of friends in London, which further solidified their love for each other. Two years later, they decide to take things further by getting married — again quietly — in Australia. Since then, it’s been a perpetual honeymoon for the pair.
In a past interview with Porter, Margot Robbie gushed over her married life with Ackerley, which she described as “the most fun ever.” “Life got way more fun somehow,” she said. “I have a responsibility, being someone’s wife. I want to be better.”

She added, “Even if we both have to fly to a country in between where we both are for one night, we’ll do it and then fly back to work the next day. And we speak all day, every day, on the phone.” Life is about to get even more fun now that a baby is about to enter the equation, but Margot Robbie is as ready as ever.
