Christina Hall is changing her name for the fifth time. This time, the TV personality goes back to her maiden name, Haack, following the messy split between her ex-husband, Josh Hall. A Tuesday, October 15, 2024, press release for her HGTV show “Christina in the Country” confirmed the news, referring to her as Christina Haack.
“Christina Haack is coming back,” began the post’s caption. “…and she’s bringing her chickens with her!” it further read.
“The SoCal-based designer/real estate expert returns with a new season of #ChristinaInTheCountry next month—see her deliver more dream homes in the Nashville area and make memories with her kids on their family farm (now home to chickens and a mini donkey!) starting November 12 #WatchOnHGTV,” the post continued.
This is the second time the 41-year-old star will return to her maiden name. Over the years, her last name has switched from Haack to El Moussa to Anstead, then to Haack, Hall, and back again to Haack. Christina has been in three marriages: first to real estate investor Tarek El Moussa, then to Ant Anstead, and most recently, to Josh Hall.
However, Christina has yet to effect the change on her Instagram profile and handle, which still reads @thechristinahall. But judging by the bad blood that has resulted from her frosty relationship with Josh, she is likely to make the move anytime soon.
Christina’s latest change comes about three months after Josh filed for divorce. She returned to bearing Haack in December 2020 after she applied to divorce automobile expert and media personality Ant Anstead. The marriage, which lasted barely two years, produced a son, Hudson London, who was born in September 2019.

Are the Christina Hall Divorce Rumors True?
The divorce between Christina Hall and Josh Hall has been confirmed. Josh filed for divorce in the middle of July and listed July 8, 2024, as the date of separation. Also, in the filing, Josh asked the court to grant spousal support from Christina. This marked a sad end to a relationship that seemed destined for bliss.
Earlier in May, Christina and Josh unveiled a new show they were to star in alongside her former husband, Tarek El Moussa, and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa. The show’s objective was to demonstrate the friendliness between the couples even after sharing partners.
The two couples were to outdo each other in flipping homes. Following the Christina and Josh Hall divorce, it is unclear how the show will turn out without Josh. However, journalists have seen Christina filming the show on multiple occasions. The show is billed to premiere in 2025.
Why Are Christina Hall and Josh Hall Splitting?
According to court documents, Josh Hall cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. Christina showed how deep the differences were when she accused him of stealing from her in a series of Instagram posts on October 3.
Josh responded by stating that he had never stolen “a penny” from her or her family. He made the statement through his spokesman in a statement they made available to journalists. “Josh has said repeatedly that he wants to handle the divorce like an adult—in the courts, not in social media and the tabloids,” the release began.
“Over and over again, Christina has insisted otherwise, creating public spectacles, but Josh has still stayed quiet. But now Christina is defaming him,” the statement read. The statement went on to question Christina’s decision to bring the squabbles into the public space.
“These are false, libelous claims. Josh hasn’t stolen a penny from her or her family. This is a red line, and Christina has crossed it. Instead of repeating Christina’s false statement, the media should ask why Christina keeps insisting on handling this matter in public instead of through the law,” the statement requested.

What We Know About Christina Hall’s Divorce From Josh?
Christina’s name change isn’t the first controversial action she would be taking after the divorce filing. In the first week of October, she put up her Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee farmhouse for sale for $4.5 million.
Josh remained in the property even after he filed for divorce. His continued stay was based on an agreement they reached, which allowed him to remain in the house until she rented it out. Reports say that Josh has been trying to contest the sale of the house.
In addition, Christina has been erasing traces of her connection to Josh. Earlier, she began deleting photos of Josh on her Instagram. Interestingly, she wiped off their wedding photo on October 16, the day after Josh filed for divorce.
How Many Times Has Christina Hall Been Married?
Christina Hall has been married three times. Her first marriage with Tarek El Moussa took place in April 2009. It produced a daughter, Taylor Reese, in September 2010 and Brayden James, in August 2015. After a series of altercations, they ended the union in January 2018.
Christina then married Ant Anstead in December of that same year. They held the wedding at their home in Newport Beach. They split in September 2020 after they secured joint custody of their son, Hudson London.
Afterward, she began dating Josh in July 2021. She confirmed their engagement in September before they tied the knot in a secret event in October 2021. Josh made several appearances in her TV show before they fell apart.
