However, according to Serena Williams, the little girl has no interest in fairytales and tiaras like many girls her age. All she cares about is Taylor Swift.
Williams made the revelation on Thursday, September 19, while she spoke with INBOUND podcast host and editor Kara Swisher about venture capitals at HubSpot’s annual gathering in Boston.

Williams talked about her eldest daughter’s preferences during her conversation with Swisher, revealing that she is not impressed by typical kids’ entertainment. “My daughter just turned 7. She’s not into princesses; she’s into Taylor Swift,” the tennis legend said before adding, “I am, too.”

Fortunately, the surgery went smoothly, and she soon got to hold her daughter. She described that feeling as the most amazing feeling she had ever experienced in my life. But her trial was far from over, and what followed just 24 hours after the delivery were six days of uncertainty.
What Happened to Serena After She Had Her Baby?
After Serena Williams’ eldest daughter was born, she found out she had pulmonary embolism. The condition occurs when one or more lung arteries become blocked by a blood clot.
It was the beginning of a slew of health complications that Williams says she is lucky to have survived. “First, my C-section wound popped open due to the intense coughing I endured as a result of the embolism,” she recalled.

They took her back to surgery, which led to the discovery of a large hematoma, a swelling of clotted blood, in her abdomen. Then, she had to be operated on again for a procedure that prevented clots from traveling to her lungs.
By the time Williams was released to go home to her family, she was too weak to do anything but spend the first six weeks of motherhood bedridden.
Williams knows how close she came to losing her life due to the complications from her pregnancy and is ever grateful to the team of doctors who cared for her during the ordeal.
