Kate Beckinsale took to Instagram on Saturday to share some very disturbing images showcasing some of the injuries she suffered while filming her new movie “Canary Black.” The images showed several bruises on her hand and arm, scrapes on her arms and knees, and there were also some busted fingers.
“Kicking impeccably chic ass,” she wrote in the captions. “And a couple of close-ups doesn’t half hurt, lol.” On her Instagram Stories, the talented actress, 51, also posted a photo of herself wearing a back brace. It was all very concerning for her fans, who took to the comments section with queries on what happened.
One follower asked her, “Why are you all bruised up?” While another wanted to know which part of her body escaped the onslaught of injuries. “Damn, you’re covered in bruises. I hope nothing is broken and a spoiler for a new movie?” someone else asked, while a different user wrote, “OMG… Those bruises… those x-rays!”

Kate Beckinsale Struggled With Physical Health Issues Earlier This Year
Earlier this year, Kate Beckinsale revealed she had been hospitalized for several weeks as she struggled with physical health issues. When fans pointed out her thinning appearance, the “Serendipity” star revealed that her stay at the hospital was extended because she was dealing with stress and grief.
“No, actually. I watched my stepfather [director Roy Battersby] die quite shockingly, my mother has stage 4 cancer, and I lost a lot of weight from stress and grief quite quickly,” she shared.
According to Beckinsale, the trauma she experienced “burned a hole” in her esophagus, which made her “vomit copious amounts of blood.” “I found eating very hard, and I just worked very, very hard on a movie that was actually quite triggering because it also involved the theme of the death of my father, so I’m not really concerned about what you think about my ass,” she added.
“Maybe you should worry about your own f–king ass,” the actress clapped back at one internet user who wrote that her “ass ran away.”
