During his controversial commencement speech at the Benedictine College in May, Harrison Butker drew attention to his wife. Harrison drew anger from a large section of the public with his anti-LGBTQ stance in his May 11 speech. The Kansas City Chiefs Kicker defied the odds and told the group of graduates that Pride Month promotes a “deadly sin.” He also stated that no woman should be ashamed to be a “homemaker,” which he referred to as “one of the most important titles of all.”
While stressing the point, he mentioned his wife, Isabelle, who he described as a hero. He praised her for sacrificing her professional dreams to be a housewife. “I can tell you that my beautiful wife, Isabelle, would say that her life truly started when she began living her vocation as a wife and as a mother,” he said.
“I’m on this stage and able to be the man I am because I have a wife who leans into her vocation,” he explained. Both Harrison and Isabelle are devoted Catholics who have lived their lives and run their family on Christian beliefs. Isabelle and Harrison got engaged in 2017, just after she converted to Catholicism. Here’s everything we know about her.

Afterward, they tied the knot on February 10, 2018, at Saint Brigid Catholic Church in Georgia. In a social media post later that year, Harrison wrote a heartwarming note to Isabelle where he promised to sacrifice for her “every day of our marriage.”
