“Matt will end Weaponized Government, protect our Borders, dismantle Criminal Organizations and restore Americans’ badly-shattered Faith and Confidence in the Justice Department,” Trump’s statement read.

Gaetz is one of the more controversial picks Trump has announced so far. He has faced several investigations into his conduct, and a number of Republican senators are not enthusiastic about his nomination.

    Elise Stefanik As U.N. Ambassador

Trump has nominated Rep. Elise Stefanik as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Stefanik represents a district in upstate New York and is a vocal and loyal Trump ally. Upon senate confirmation, she will become the No. 4 House Republican as chair of the House Republican Conference.

In addition to overseeing the southern and northern borders and “maritime, and aviation security,” Trump said Homan “will be in charge of all Deportation of Illegal Aliens back to their Country of Origin.” Homan has assured citizens that the deportation will only affect illegal immigrants and not the legal migrant community.

    Pete Hegseth As Defense secretary

Kristi Noem As Head of Department of Homeland Security

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem is Trump’s cabinet pick to run DHS because he believes she is “very strong on Border Security.”

Tulsi Gabbard As Director of National Intelligence

Trump chose former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard as his director of national intelligence. Gabbard served in the Army National Guard. She also represented Hawaii in the House from 2013 to 2021 before she became an independent in 2022. In his statement, Trump tagged her “a proud Republican!”

He will ensure fair and swift deregulatory decisions that will be enacted in a way to unleash the power of American businesses, while at the same time maintaining the highest environmental standards,” Trump’s declarative statement read.

Mike Huckabee as U.S. Ambassador To Israel

The president-elect has chosen Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, to serve as his U.S. ambassador to Israel. However, the post requires Senate confirmation.

Elon Musk & Vivek Ramaswamy Will Head the Department of Government Efficiency

“I am pleased to announce that the Great Elon Musk, working in conjunction with American Patriot Vivek Ramaswamy, will lead the Department of Government Efficiency (“DOGE”). Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies,” Trump said in a statement.

Assistants to the President and Deputy Chiefs of Staff

Trump has announced four top advisers who worked on his presidential campaign as members of his senior staff. They include Dan Scavino, Stephen Miller, James Blair and Taylor Budowich. They will all serve as assistants to the president and deputy chiefs of staff overseeing specific areas.

Did Donald Trump Pick a Democrat for His Cabinet Member?

There are no democrats among Trump’s cabinet picks so far. The closest he came to picking one was when he appointed Elaine Chao, who is married to Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell, as Secretary of Transportation.

Chao is not a Democrat, but her appointment raised eyebrows because of her bipartisan connections.

Are There Any Blacks or Latinos on Trump’s Cabinet List?

While Trump’s cabinet picks all come from various ethnicities, there are currently no Blacks or Latinos on the list. For example, Vivek Ramaswamy, who heads the newly created Department of Government Efficiency was born to Indian immigrant parents and Tulsi Gabbard has European and Samoan ancestry.
