Their infectious energy lit up Navy Pier’s Festival Hall as they posed for a “family portrait,” each oozing the same appeal that captured hearts worldwide. Ever the patriarch, Peter Facinelli shared on Instagram, saying, “Took the kids to the mall for a family portrait. Love this Coven.”
Notably, the photo showed each cast member doing a silly pose as they stood in front of a blue background.

During the cast reunion, the harmony and magic were real. Jackson Rathbone, 39, added a bit of humor, captioning his Instagram post with, “I thought I saw an Eggward. The “Twilight” cast, led by Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, and Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black — have reunited multiple times. Until now, they still speak about their time in the vampire-romance film franchise.
Team Edward vs. Team Jacob Rivalry
Regarding the iconic Team Edward vs. Team Jacob rivalry, Lautner, 32, shared insights in an appearance in the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in January. Addressing the rivalry between fans, Lautner revealed the emotional toll it took, especially during his younger years.
He confessed to host Alex Cooper, “I think it was tough. I don’t know for him, but for me, at least it definitely — especially at the age I was at, you get your feelings hurt sometimes when you shouldn’t. But it’s hard not to sometimes.”
Despite the challenges, Lautner emphasized the respect he shared with Robert Pattinson, 37, who portrayed Edward. He noted that despite the “difficult” and “awkward” nature of the Pattinson/Edward vs. Lautner/Jacob debate, they handled it.

When asked about her ideal picks to portray Bella Swan and Edward Cullen in a reboot, Hardwicke endorsed Josh Horowitz’s suggestion of Jenna Ortega and Jacob Elordi. “Oh yeah, that would be perfect,” Hardwicke said before asking the host if he had watched Elordi’s latest film, “Saltburn.” I mean, he’s amazing. He probably would be Edward today. Exactly.”

While details remain scarce, she speculated about the potential for a fresh take on the beloved saga. “I don’t know yet. Maybe they don’t even know,” she told Horowitz, noting that the writers’ strike likely delayed the series’ development. The director said she would love to take the beloved saga in a different direction.
She noted, “For me, it would be fun to do Twilight in outer space. I would be ecstatic to do that, something totally different.” Elsewhere in the podcast episode, Hardwicke revealed that she recently had a surprise Twilight reunion at Pattinson’s 37th birthday bash earlier this year. The director told host Horowitz that she and Stewart, 33, all “crashed” the celebration of the original Edward’s bash.
