Reports claim that burglars targeted Patrick Mahomes’ mansion and Travis Kelce’s house in Kansas City last month ahead of their October 7 squabble against the New Orleans Saints. According to a police record, the burglary at Mahomes’ Belton, Mo., estate was reported by a bodyguard just after midnight on October 6.
Although nothing has been reported missing or stolen from the quarterback’s home yet, the news has sparked the interest of fans of the NFL star. Here’s all we know about the burglary at Travis Kelce’s house.
Burglars Hit Patrick Mahomes’ Home Before Breaking Into Travis Kelce’s House
The talented NFL player was reportedly out celebrating Travis Kelce’s 35th birthday on October 5 in the hours leading up to the burglary. It’s unclear if anybody was home during the break-in, as Patrick lives with his pregnant wife, Brittany Mahomes, and their two children—daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 1.

Not up to 48 hours later, Travis Kelce’s house was also broken into around 7:30 p.m. — shortly after kickoff against the Saints. According to the police document obtained by TMZ, the burglars got away with $20,000 in cash and left Kelce’s back door damaged.
The Robbery May Be Connected to the Break-In at Patrick Mahomes’ House
Sources believe the two attempts are connected to similar crimes recorded in the area. However, insiders have revealed that the FBI is working with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and the Leawood Police Department to investigate.
The feds believe the burglaries might be the work of an organized crime group that operates beyond Missouri. Many of Kelce’s family and friends were in town to celebrate his birthday. However it is believed they were all at the game and the subsequent afterparty when the burglary occurred.
Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, also flew into Kansas City for the celebrations. Last month, sources revealed that Swift threw her man a private party that Sunday. A source revealed at the time that Swift and her father, Scott, took Kelce, his family, and the Mahomes out to a popular sushi spot.
Unfortunately, the intimate affair ended early as the NFL stars were getting ready for their game the next day. It is unclear where Swift stayed, but Chiefs players typically must spend the night before each home game at their team hotel.
