The year has been a series of big wins for the three-time Olympic gold medalist Ryan Crouser. In August, Crouser won a historic third-straight Olympic gold medal in shot put, and now, months later, he has revealed news of his engagement to Megan Clark, his longtime beau.
The talented Olympian, 31, announced his engagement to the former elite pole vaulter, 30, in a joint Instagram post on October 17. “She Said Yes!!!” the post read.
The couple shared three photos from their engagement shoot, in which Clark is dressed in a polka dot outfit while Crouser, who got down on one knee to propose, is wearing blue jeans paired with a navy blue blazer over a collared button-up.
“Thank you Trentino, Lake Garda will always have a special place in our hearts,” Crouser wrote in the caption. Clark, who graduates next year from the University of Arkansas for Medical Studies, was only to happy to say “yes” to Crouser. “Easiest question I’ve ever been asked,” the medical student, who has undoubtedly been asked tougher questions, commented.
