Love was certainly in the air last weekend in NYC. There was news about Halsey packing on the PDA with her boyfriend Avan Jogia during a weekend picnic, and she was sporting a new ring. However, they were apparently not the only celeb couple that thought the weather was too nice to stay in.
Rihanna and ASAP Rocky had the exact same thought and decided to step out for a date night in NYC. The pair were without their two kids, RZA and Riot, who are already becoming fashion icons like their parents.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky had a stylish parents’ night out to celebrate a successful day. The Fenty Beauty founder and Grammy-nominated rapper were pictured in New York City wearing sporty chic outfits on Saturday, July 13, following his mom’s book signing earlier that day.
Rihanna, 36, stunned in an Outkast basketball jersey emblazoned with stars, purple cargo pants, and red animal-print heels. She completed her look with a Yankees cap, jewelry, and a blue pocketbook.

On the other hand, A$AP, 35, went for a red baseball cap with a navy shirt, black denim highwater pants, and sneakers with multi-colored laces. The pair held hands as they enjoyed their date night at the Aloft hotel in New York after supporting ASAP’s mom’s book signing in Harlem.
Rihanna and ASAP Rocky’s Relationship Timeline
Rihanna and ASAP Rocky first met in 2012, but their relationship did not start until about seven years later, in 2019. In April, Rihanna revealed what attracted them. “We saw fashion the same. We saw creative the same. We ended up in the same circles a lot,” she said.
“And past that, when we grew up, we ended up supporting each other’s brands and products and creative all the time. I would wear his shit, he would show up to my launches. But it wasn’t until the end of 2019 [that we got together] …”
She added, “We can make or break each other’s hearts. And so, we started dating with a lot of caution … I just let whatever was supposed to happen happen. It was just, ‘This is a flower. It’s either going to die or blossom. But I’m going to let it decide itself.’ ”
By August 2021, a source close to the pair revealed that they were “crazy about each other.” It was clear they were in it for the long haul, but they were also very cautious. Rihanna is about a year older than Rocky, and they were both well-known for being sought-after characters.
They welcomed their first child on May 13, 2022, and their second followed in August 2023. Marriage rumors have been circling the pair for some time now, but as usual, they are not rushing into anything.
So to the frequently asked question “Are ASAP Rocky and Rihanna married?” the answer is no, but not for long. The pair are also not engaged yet but sources close to them say it may happen anytime.
