The talented singer and her longtime boyfriend, entrepreneur and tech investor Michael Polansky, are now engaged to be married. Gaga revealed the news to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In a TikTok video posted by Attal on Sunday, July 28, Gaga was captured introducing Polansky as “my fiancé” as the trio spectated a swimming event together.

Gaga and Polansky were initially romantically linked in 2020 when they were photographed kissing at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas. Just weeks later, they went public with their relationship with a PDA-filled weekend in Miami for Super Bowl 2020.
At the time, Gaga shared a photo on Instagram of the pair cuddled up on a yacht. She captioned it, “We had so much fun in Miami.” A source close to her later told PEOPLE that the couple quarantined together during the early phase of the pandemic.
According to the insider, they were holed up in Gaga’s house and grew close during their time together. In January 2021, when Gaga was invited to perform at President Biden’s inauguration in Washington, she had Polansky by her side.
A source told PEOPLE at the time that she was “happy” with Polansky and “grateful” to have his support. The insider also claimed Gaga introduced him to people backstage at the event as “my boyfriend.”
Later that same year, Gaga mentioned him during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, following the return of her dogs Koji and Gustav, which were taken during an attack on her dog walker. She said, “My dogs and the man that I love are my whole life.”
A source told PEOPLE in November 2021 that the two were not in a rush to get engaged but were already acting “like a married couple.”

To celebrate her 38th birthday in March 2024, the pair were pictured together with a group of friends at a casual prix-fixe dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California. A source told PEOPLE that Gaga and Polansky “looked very happy together” at the intimate gathering.
According to the source, “He let her shine and made sure she had everything she needed. She was smiling and laughing all night. It was a fun celebration.” It is all proof that even though nobody knows when yet, that wedding is very likely to happen, and soon.
