The fan’s plan, which she revealed via an October 1 TikTok, began with a declaration of love for Joe Jonas followed by a revelation. “I don’t follow him on any social media because I’m waiting for the day I meet him,” the fan wrote. “He falls in love with me, and I can pretend I barely knew who he was so we can follow each other once we’re already dating because I’m just an ordinary girl.”

It sounds like a foolproof plan until the singer seemingly ruins it by commenting, “Does this plan still work if he sees this?” The plans may have been botched, but internet users who saw it praised her boldness.
One user wrote, “Dang, she SHOT her shot.” Another stated, “That’s like master manifesting girl.” Joe Jonas’ playful comment comes about a month after he and his ex-wife, Sophie Turner, finalized their divorce.
What Happened Between Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner?
Joe Jonas filed divorce paperwork in September 2023 to end his four-year marriage to actress Sophie Turner, stating in court documents that their relationship was “irretrievably broken.”
What followed were months of legal back-and-forths, battles they fought over various things, including custody of their daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 2, which only ended after the couple reached an agreement.
The singer claims the divorce influenced his latest album, “Music for People Who Believe in Love.” “I was going through a lot of life changes,” he said in August, “finding out who I was as a person and father and friend, and living under the microscope of what the music industry can be. And I think, at such a crazy time in my life, I looked to music as an outlet.”
Jonas emphasized that while the album drew inspiration from the divorce, it is not an attack on Turner. “I’m not trying to come for anyone on this album. I’m a happy person, and the music needed to resemble that—but also, the journey to get here.”
While things between him and the “Game of Thrones” alum were initially tumultuous, the tensions have since cooled. He believes this is because they both want to make co-parenting work for the sake of their kids.
“I think we’re doing the best we can,” Sophie Turner said in May. “I’m confident that we can figure it out. Joe is a great father to our children, and that’s all that I can ask for.”
