Gypsy Rose Blanchard is already giving her fans a hint of the kind of mother she plans to be. The proud mother-to-be, who announced news of her pregnancy in July, showed off a pair of matching mother-daughter sweatshirts in an Instagram post on Wednesday, October 2.
In the post, she wore the adult version of the pastel pink top with the Barbie logo in white while she held onto the smaller version reserved for her unborn child. She finished the look with black leggings. “So cute! matching mother-daughter Barbie Sweatshirts @showmeyourmumu We will be Ken’s Barbie girls @kenurker,” Blanchard’s caption read.

In response to her posting the coordinating outfits on her page, many internet users took to the comment section with well wishes. One wrote, “How precious! The mom-to-be has maintained a casual style as she progresses in her pregnancy. On Tuesday, October 1, she shared a “Get Ready With Me” (GRWM) video on TikTok that saw her pick out the “perfect” outfit to celebrate her beau’s birthday.
“I want to look absolutely stunning. Now, being almost 24 weeks pregnant, finding something that flatters me is a little difficult,” Blanchard said in the video. She eventually settled for a brown blouse she thought “screams Kim Kardashian,” which she paired with black leggings and brown boots.
On Wednesday, September 18, she gave fans another glimpse into her fashion choices by posting an Instagram picture of herself in an athleisure ensemble with black leggings, a white top, white sneakers, and a black cross-body bag.

In the first interview she did after announcing that she is expecting, Gypsy Rose Blanchard candidly discussed the topic of motherhood, revealing what kind of mom she hopes to be. According to her, she wants to be the kind “that my kids come to me for any kind of advice, just like my stepmother [Kristy Blanchard].”
“I have seen how she has parented her children — and I think she’s a kick-ass mom. She’s supportive and not overbearing,” the mother-to-be said. “She lets her kids find their dreams while also being able to pick up the pieces when those dreams fall apart sometimes — so that’s kind of the mantra I want to live by.”

Her mother reportedly forced her to pretend to have severe physical and mental disabilities for financial and social benefits, a condition known as Munchausen syndrome by proxy.
