It has been two years since the world lost PnB Rock, a talented rapper, to violence enabled by gun possession. However, real justice was not served until September 23, 2024.
The talented rapper was fatally gunned down while eating lunch with his girlfriend at a Los Angeles restaurant, and now, the father who instigated his demise by instructing his then 17-year-old son to rob and kill him has been sentenced.
Justice Has Been Served at Last
On Monday, September 23, L.A. Superior Court Judge Connie Quinones sentenced Freddie Lee Trone, 42, to 31 years to life in prison. The sentencing comes weeks after Trone was convicted on August 7 after a jury found him guilty of murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, and two counts of robbery.
Trone’s son, unnamed amidst all the chaos, was charged with murder and scheduled for “mental competency proceedings” in late August. He is now 19 and in a juvenile detention center.

A second defendant, Tremont Jones, was also convicted of two counts of robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery. He got 12 years in prison, according to the D.A.’s office. There was also a third defendant, Trone’s wife, Shauntel Trone.
She pleaded no contest to accessory after the fact in July, and her sentencing is scheduled for January 16. Nevertheless, everyone can rest easy knowing the man who set the events that led to the death of PnB Rock in motion has finally gotten his due.
“Today, justice has been served with the sentencing of two men for the tragic and senseless murder of Rakim Hasheem Allen, also known to many as the talented rap artist PnB Rock,” district attorney George Gascón said on September 23.
What Was PnB Rock’s Age at His Time of Death?
PnB Rock, born Rakim Hasheem Allen, was age 30 when he passed away on September 12, 2022, after the robbery-murder at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ’N Waffles in South Los Angeles. One month after it happened, his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang, confessed that the rapper saved her life.
According to her, he had reacted quickly by throwing her under a table, which is what saved her life. She wrote on Instagram, “I’m not supposed to be here but bc of him. I am.” The day PnB Rock died was an eventful one for her.
Not only was she not given time to come to terms with what happened, but she was quickly hustled into an interrogation room, where she remained all night, making her the last one to know the rapper’s fate.
When Was PnB Rock’s Funeral Held?
PnB Rock’s funeral was held on September 21, 2022. The funeral was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where the rapper was originally from.
It was attended by his family, friends, and fans, who were there to pay tribute to the rapper and say their final goodbyes. A public memorial was also held to give his fans closure and allow them to honor the late rapper.
Where Is PnB Rock’s Gravesite?
It is believed PnB Rock’s gravesite is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. However, the exact cemetery where he was laid to rest remains a secret to the public. The rapper was buried on September 22, 2022, after a Muslim funeral service.
Did PnB Rock Have Kids?
PnB Rock was a proud father of two children whom he welcomed with his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang. Both kids are daughters, Xuri Li Sibounheuang and Milan Allen.

Milan was the first child they welcomed, and she was born in 2013. Xuri came along years later, in 2020.
After his demise, Stephanie expressed sadness for the loss as she considered a future in which his kids had to grow up without him. Stephanie is also glad that the sentencing has happened and justice has been finally served.
