Eddie Murphy and Paige Butcher have finally walked down the aisle. This comes almost six years after the two first got engaged in 2018. The wedding was an intimate affair with only a few witnesses and will hopefully be the actor’s last wedding.
He was married only once before despite his large brood, which he believes has a sexy ring to it. Ultimately, he is just a man who enjoys being called Daddy, and he’s a good one. Perhaps it is why his kids are following in his footsteps.

The Oscar nominee, 63, and the Australian model, 44, getting married is great news, especially for fans of the couple who have been rooting for them this whole time. Murphy is every woman’s kind of man, and given his relationship history, there were doubts that what he shared with Butcher would culminate in marriage.
However, it has, and the whole of Hollywood is happy for them. Eddie Murphy and Paige Butcher married in Anguilla on Tuesday, July 9. It was a small, private ceremony witnessed by family and close friends.
Butcher looked stunning in a corseted gown adorned with lace designed by Mira Zwillinger, while her husband wore a white Brioni suit. As stated earlier, this is Murphy’s second marriage but the first for Butcher.

The wedding news comes less than a month after the couple were pictured together during the “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” premiere in Los Angeles on June 20.
The pair attended the Netflix event and were joined on the red carpet by the actor’s daughters, Bria, 34, Shayne Audra, 29, and Bella Zahra, 22 — whom he shares with ex-wife Nicole, 56.

Murphy and Butcher just tied the knot, but their relationship is already blessed with kids. The pair share two kids: an 8-year-old daughter, Izzy Oona, and a 5-year-old son, Max Charles. The newlyweds welcomed their first child, a girl named Izzy, on May 3, 2016.
On the other hand, Eddie Murphy and Paige Butcher’s son, Max, arrived on November 30, 2018, two months after their engagement. Butcher is also a stepmother to the veteran actor’s other kids. They all get along, which is probably one of the reasons the actor decided to put a ring on her finger.
Murphy is a well-known family man. According to his “Beverly Hills Cop” co-star, Judge Reinhold, “He’s crazy about his kids and his family. He’s a family guy at heart. He truly is. He really is.”

Eddie Murphy and Paige Butcher’s relationship kicked off in 2012. Although the model rarely grants interviews, she spoke about her then-fiancé on the red carpet at the 2020 Golden Globes. He was caught whispering something in her ears on the red carpet, and when asked what it was, Murphy revealed that it was a compliment.
He said: “I told her how wonderful she looks,” after which Butcher chimed in, “He actually says that kind of stuff all the time. He’s very, very sweet and romantic.” Years have passed since then, and the two’s feelings about each other have barely changed. If anything, their love has deepened, and their family has become blended.
Three years after their red carpet interview, Murphy thanked Butcher and his children for their “love and support” as he received the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the same award event. Murphy is now a proud father of ten, including his kids with Butcher.

His other kids include Eric, 34, Christian, 33, Myles Mitchell, 31, Zola Ivy, 24, and Angel Iris, 17. He has heard comments people make about his large brood, but he doesn’t care. In fact, Murphy believes there is “something sexy about it.”
In a 2019 episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Murphy said: “Men kind of look at me like, ‘He’s crazy! How much did that s–t cost?'” Then he added that women look at him and think,”‘ Eddie Murphy must be doing his thing. Eddie Murphy be getting it in! He don’t be bulls–tin’!’”

The comedian married Nicole Mitchell Murphy in 1993. They have daughters Bria, 34, Shayne, 29, and Bella, 22. His oldest daughter, Bria, is reportedly following in his footsteps as an actor. She appeared in the recently released “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” alongside her real-life husband, Michael Xavier.
The actor was too happy to discuss their roles during an interview with Today. He said: “She’s the one that arrested me. And in the other scene when I get arrested in the movie, that’s my son-in-law tasing me in the neck.”
