Reba McEntire may not look it, but she knows how to make a gangster cry. Just ask Snoop Dogg, the gangster in question.
The rapper has seen a lot in his long life of debauchery, but not enough to freeze his heart over because McEntire’s actions brought tears to his eyes. What did she do? She made one man’s dreams come true.
Why Did Snoop Dogg Cry?
The 26th season of “The Voice” premiered on Monday, September 23, and it saw McEntire make an unprecedented move after Kendall Eugene’s blind audition. When Eugene finished his rendition of Morgan Wallen’s “Don’t Thank Jesus,” there were no chair turns, but the coaches all complimented him and encouraged him not to give up.
However, McEntire regretted not turning her chair. “I liked everything about it,” McEntire, 69, said, which made Eugene say she “should’ve turned.”

“I was going to say that exact same words,” the singer responded. “I don’t understand why I did not turn around.” McEntire then declared her decision to make “history” by becoming the first coach on the show to use the Coach Replay button.
The button allows coaches to change their minds if they don’t turn their chairs during a blind audition. “We’ve got this new thing this year, that is a Coach Replay button. I’m going to use mine,” McEntire stated as she pressed her button.
Her action drove Eugene to instant tears, and Snoop was visibly moved. “Wow! Go give that man a hug,” the rapper, 52, said, and when the camera panned back to him, Snoop was seen wiping tears from his face.
