Machine Gun Kelly has given his fans an update on where he stands on his relationship with alcohol. He has revealed that he dedicated some time to getting help in a rehab facility last year.
Stars have always been known to dabble in both cheap and expensive thrills, which sometimes get the best of them. Many of them have been to rehab, and most who come out better often credit a person or a group of people with being their support system.

MGK, 34, appeared on Bunnie Xo’s podcast Dumb Blonde on Monday, August 5. During his appearance, he discussed his struggles and revealed that he is “completely sober from everything” after his trip to rehab.

“I don’t drink anymore. I haven’t drank since last August,” MGK said. “That was my first time I ever went to rehab.” MGK says he used to abuse alcohol, marijuana, and pills such as hydrocodone, Percocet, and Vyvanse. In the episode, he also shared his appreciation for his partner Megan Fox, 38.
According to him, she was instrumental in his recovery. “Megan has for sure been extremely helpful in dealing with the kind of psychological withdrawals that come with getting off drugs,” MGK said.
“I continue to embrace that this journey is gonna be hard for me, but I accept it and forgive myself,” he explained. “I’m also really hard on myself, very self-deprecating. I’m just happy that I’m able to start to be comfortable enough to show people who I am because I kind of depended on my art to do that.”
MGK Was Tempted To Drink
While on the episode with Bunnie, Machine Gun Kelly and the host spoke about his recent collaboration with Bunnie’s husband Jelly Roll, titled “Lonely Road,” recalling how both she and Fox made cameos in the music video alongside “KellyRoll,” as they’ve dubbed themselves.
According to Bunnie, she recently challenged the musician to a drinking contest against Jelly one night after they finished filming the “Lonely Road” music video; however, she had no idea he was sober.
MGK joked, “It just kills me because I just know I would have f—ing drank that man under the table,” showing he turned down the challenge.

Machine Gun Kelly is currently believed to be dating Megan Fox. The pair reportedly met on the set of their film, “Midnight in the Switchgrass,” in March 2020, and by January 2022, MGK had proposed.
