Popular “Power Rangers” actor Hector David Rivera is wanted by the Idaho Police. The star of the kid’s favorite show who played the Green Ranger allegedly assaulted a man with a walker in Nampa, Idaho.
The incident allegedly took place on Friday, July 26, 2024. The Police have told journalists that they have obtained a warrant for the actor’s arrest.
What Did Hector David Rivera Do?
“About 11:45 in the morning, there was a verbal incident that happened in a parking lot in Nampa… over a parking space,” police said in their statement.
According to reports that came out on Wednesday, July 31, the actor, whose stage name is Hector David Jr., pushed a man to the ground. The man was in his early 60s and held a walker.
Videos of the Incident Have Emerged
Journalists have successfully obtained a dashcam video of the incident. In the video, a man emerged from his car and approached an elderly man, shoving him moments later. The incident took place in a parking lot in a suburb just outside Boise.
After careful investigation, the Nampa Police Department identified the offender as Hector David Rivera. However, they have been unable to reach him.
The Nampa Police’s Statement
According to an official statement by the Nampa Police Department’s spokesperson, “The Suspect in the battery featured on our social media Friday, 7/26, is Hector David Rivera, 35, of Nampa.”
The statement specified, “He is an actor who goes by the name Hector David Jr., who played the Green Power Ranger. We have not been able to locate Mr. Rivera, so he is still at large.”
Nampa Police Have Charged Hector David Rivera for Misdemeanor Battery
The police have also announced that when Rivera shows up, he will be facing a misdemeanor battery charge. From the video, the actor shoved the man in the arm, the force of which sent the man sprawling and his walker clattering down after him.
Afterward, the video showed Hector David Rivera pointing angrily at the man while he remained on the ground. The actor then hopped in his car and drove off.
Hector David Rivera Remains At Large
Where is the “Power Ranger” actor? Journalists have looked into his upcoming appearances and found that he is scheduled to appear at Magic Valley Comic-Con on the first weekend of August.
It is doubtful if he will show up at the event. The press also found that his name wasn’t listed on the event’s website. Larissa Long, a spokesperson for the organizers, told journalists that they had just found out about the incident.
The Show Organizers Have Promised to Take “Appropriate Action”
In a statement, Larissa Long, who doubles as Magic Valley Comic-Con’s marketing director, said, “We are just finding out about this ourselves. We are looking into it and will take appropriate action.”
The organizers’ most likely move is to terminate their engagement with the actor. This could be the reason why his name wasn’t featured on the event’s website.

The actor played a crucial role in the Power Rangers movies and remains a prominent part of the franchise. He first appeared as Mike, a Green Samurai Ranger, in the show’s opening episode, Power Rangers Samurai, “Origins.”
At the end of the series and the one after (Power Rangers Super Samurai), Rivera participated in all forty episodes.

What Next for Hector David Rivera?
It’s almost certain that the actor will be in police custody pretty soon. Except he can give a convincing reason for his actions, the court isn’t likely to look kindly on him.
Thankfully, and probably to Rivera’s relief, the elderly man wasn’t injured in the encounter. Plus, soon after the incident, a witness approached to help him up to his feet.
