Cara Delevingne’s home lies in ruins, haunting proof of the destructive force that recently destroyed her $7 million mansion in the L.A. area. Footage reveals the ghostly remnants of what were once bustling rooms amid the rubble.
But the destruction doesn’t end there; even the surrounding landscape bears scars, with scorched trees and lawns giving a grim picture of the blaze’s relentless rage. Here’s a look at what happened in the model-turned-actress’s house.
Extent of Damage to Cara Delevingne’s Home
In the early hours of March 15, nearly 100 firefighters landed upon Cara Delevingne’s home after a desperate 911 call. They battled the fire that consumed everything in its path for two hours. Meanwhile, Delevingne, safely tucked away in London for her role in “Cabaret,” was physically safe from the tragedy.
As the flames raged on, concerns mounted for Delevingne’s cats. However, she later reassured fans that her pets were safe and sound. After the havoc, the model’s parents shed light on the cause of the fire. It was due to a rogue powerline giving in to winds that often disturb Los Angeles nights. However, more investigations into the official cause are underway.

The aftermath of the incident has left a trail of heartache and uncertainty. As the supermodel battles devastation from afar, recent images show the raw emotion on her face. In one snapshot, she looked broken in the backseat seat of a car. This was when she left the Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse Theatre in London after her performance in “Cabaret.”
In another snap, Delevingne placed a hand against her head while staring into space as her mother, Pandora, offered comfort by her side. Other images showed Delevingne covering her face with her arm.
Her dad, Charles, offered support for his daughter after the devastating blaze. Notably, Delevingne first thought her cats had died in the fire. But, as previously mentioned, she clarified their safety on Instagram. Well, there is no word yet on how they rescued the kittens.
Delevingne’s Parents Speak Out Amidst Tragic Loss

Investigation Into the Fire at Cara Delevingne’s Home
As the fire investigation continues, her parents, Charles and Pandora, offer their perspectives on the incident. Speaking to a photographer in London, they claimed the fire originated due to an electrical malfunction worsened by the fierce windy conditions in Southern California.
Charles further described the conditions as “very windy,” suggesting that a rogue powerline may be to blame. He also said that the electrical fire eventually got out of control. While initial reports hinted at the possibility of arson, sources close to law enforcement clarify that such suspicions are not verified.
Although involving an arson unit, a standard protocol for fires of this nature, arson is not a serious consideration at this time.
