The rapper opened up about his feelings shortly after Radar Online revealed his request to keep his divorce records private. He recently made some changes to his legal case against Rivera, especially after her social media clash with his current girlfriend, Melanie.
Waka Flocka Requested Legal Documents on His Divorce with Tammy
In the new legal documents, Waka Flocka asked for an agreement preventing him and Rivera from discussing their divorce publicly. After the request became public, the rapper responded on Instagram.
He posted a meme on Monday, March 19, 2024, that says he’s not interested in what other people have. The meme’s list included “a bag…a life…a relationship…NOTHING.” Instead, the meme says, “I want whatever GOD wants me to have respectfully.”

His Instagram Post
The rapper’s Instagram post was lighthearted. However, Waka Flocka’s caption sheds light on his current state of mind. He says that he’s feeling calm and contented and that anyone who tries to mess with that is working for the “little devil.”
Flocka wrote, “God, please let these folks know I’m good good [prayer hands emoticon]. I’m at Peace, and if you tryna steal or take that from me, you gotta be working for the little devil.”
“Nowadays, I only pray on my most joyful days because when the heats on, FAITH is my only protection. I just wanna tell everybody I love you, and I wish God would stop all hurt because I came up so dangerous and so reckless. Even I look in the mirror and say to myself, ONLY GOD GOT ME THRU THOSE TIMES!!!” he added.
In another post, Flocka expressed gratitude to his brothers. He opined that it’s crucial to have family members who genuinely care about you and want to see you succeed, like having a support system that’s always there for you. Flocka also acknowledged his mom, Debra, for raising such strong and amazing men.

A lot of fans believed that Waka Flocka and Tammy Rivera were already divorced. But then, amid Rivera clapping back at Melanie, she revealed that they’re still legally married. For context, the rapper filed to end their marriage on May 23, 2023. But according to the court documents, they had already separated on December 1, 2021.
In the initial petition, Waka Flocka mentioned that they’ve lived apart since then. He also said their marriage had “no reasonable hope of reconciliation.”
The Rapper’s Request
In their latest divorce filing, Waka Flocka asked the judge to rule that they could not discuss the divorce in the media. This includes social media, newspapers, the internet, radio, and TV. He wants to keep all the details and discussions private between them and not have them all over the public eye.
However, Rivera hasn’t responded to the divorce petition or the updated filing yet. According to reports, she’s been pretty quiet about it. And it looks like a judge still needs to decide on Flocka’s request to keep things private.

It’s unclear if Waka Flocka and his soon-to-be ex-wife have talked to each other since all that shady stuff happened online. However, she has been making more appearances on social media lately. She even shared that she got a tattoo of the rapper’s legal name covered up.
Also, she shared a sneak peek on her Instagram Story to reveal that her boyfriend bought her a special cat. For those who don’t know, Rivera is a cat lover and revealed that she now owns four.
“My cat daddy bought me a marine coon cat today,” Rivera wrote, placing a heart-eyed emoji over her man’s face.
