Royal author Tina Brown isn’t pleased with Meghan Markle!
Brown, who was a friend and biographer for the late Princess Diana, ripped into Meghan Markle, who she says “has the worst judgment in the world.” Brown poured out her feelings in a no-holds-barred interview in what seems like a troubling time for the royal couple.
Meghan Markle has, in the last few years, been the object of intense criticism for her role in the fractured relationship between the prince and the palace. Many have pointed at her as the major culprit in their “war” with the rest of the royal family. Tina Brown has finally decided to give her assessment of the situation.
In the interview on The Ankler podcast, Brown stated that Prince Harry is the most gifted royal family member. She believes Prince Harry would have made a model prince and fulfilled his role perfectly if not for the negative influence of Markle, who she described as an expert in getting things wrong.
She blamed Harry for trusting Markle’s judgment a little bit too much. “He was terribly impressed by Meghan. He thought that she knew it all. She persuaded him that she was the savvy Hollywood wheeler-dealer who could come in and make them stars and all the rest of it. And he just sort of blindly followed her like a child, really,” Brown explained.

The Meghan Markle Criticisms Don’t Seem Likely to Stop
These knocks are coming at a critical time for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The pair have been busy trying to arrange the puzzles of a reportedly looming divorce, the problems of their new house in Portugal, and a clash between their career ambitions.
Recently, the couple has also been receiving lots of bashing by the United States media. One media outlet referred to Markle as a “dictator in high heels” following reports of staff resignations and bullying.
The media attacks, which have been raging for a long time, only intensified after the couple announced in 2020 that they would be stepping down from royal duties. In Brown’s opinion, their detractors have a point.

Tina Brown is no ordinary commentator; she is one of the most respected persons with ties to the royal family. Aside from being the biographer for the late Princess Diana, she’s one of the most knowledgeable and respected experts on the British number one family.
This isn’t the first time Tina Brown has commented on the issue. In 2022, she released a book titled “The Palace Papers,” where she lambasted Markle. She claimed that Markle harbored disdain for the family’s representational duties.
Specifically, this referred to the Duchess of Sussex’s event-filled 2018 tour of Australia. Markle and her husband had to attend 75 different engagements in just 6 days during the tour. She reportedly voiced her disapproval of the situation to the hearing of her staff, describing most of the engagements tour as “pointless.”
Why Did Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Leave the Royal Family?
In January 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shockingly announced that they were cutting ties with the royal family. The move, which the British press termed “Megxit,” escalated tension between the pair and the rest of the family. But why did they leave?
There are no better people to reveal why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the royal family than the royal couple themselves. According to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry during a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, hostility from the family and the press was majorly to blame.
Markle alleged that an undisclosed member of the family made racist comments about her then-unborn son, Archie. They also alleged an unhealthy competition between members of the family over who gets the most favorable press. This rivalry, they alleged, drove staff of family members to leak negative information about other members to the press.
They also accused other members of the family of jealousy. The couple alleged that the rest of the family weren’t pleased with the huge popularity they were getting. Also, they accused the family of hindering the development of their “SussexRoyal” brand.

Why Don’t Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Show Their Kids?
From observant eyes, it’s been pretty obvious that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have deliberately decided to keep their kids away from public view. The last most of us have seen of Archie and Lilibet was when they made appearances in the 2022 Netflix docuseries “Harry and Meghan.” Afterward, the couple have starved the public of photos of their children.
Fans have been asking, “What’s up with Meghan Markle’s kids?” A source said, “I think every parent wants to share their kid with the world, but they just can’t.” Apparently, the couple is concerned about their kids’ safety in their California home, which is miles away from their more familiar home in Britain.

Meghan Markle got married to Prince Harry on Saturday, May 19, 2018. The wedding held at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in the UK. She was 36 years old at the time and a darling of everyone. Her entrance into the family gained unprecedented publicity due to her race.
However, it wasn’t the first time she would be tying the knot. Previously, she had been married in 2011 when she was 30. Hopefully, the rumors about a frosty relationship between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be false.
