Sean “Diddy” Combs has cried out after his late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter’s alleged book gained wide publicity. The rapper has tagged the newly released memoir as “fake” after it reached top spots on Amazon. According to a source close to the family, Kim Porter’s family has also threatened legal action.
There was trouble in the camp of embattled rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs on September 6, 2024, after a book surfaced online detailing alleged atrocities he committed. The book was an instant hit on Amazon as it reached its top spot in the Literature and Fiction category.
Unfortunately for Diddy, 54, the book comes amidst his long-drawn battle with the law. Diddy has been facing allegations of sex trafficking, prostitution, and racketeering for some years now. Law enforcement arrested him on Monday, September 16 in a New York hotel. He also appeared in court to answer his 14-page indictment.

Who Is the Kim Porter Book Author
The book was said to have been written by model and actress Kim Porter before her demise in November 2018. Its cover featured a photo of the actress and model, who passed away at the age of 47.
The cover says the book was written by “Jamal T. Millwood for Kimberly A. Porter.” Its publisher is Chris Todd, whose actual name is Todd Guzze. He published the book with the pseudonym Millwood. Journalists have reached out to Todd concerning how truthful the book’s content is. However, he maintained that all the information in the book was accurate.
“Do you think Chris Todd would risk his ass and rep on something that was fake??” he asked the reporters. “Number one on Amazon,” he added, referencing the book’s market success as proof of its authenticity.
However, on another occasion, Todd seemed to backpedal from his claims that the book’s contents are completely true. During an interview, he said, “If somebody put my feet to the fire and they said, ‘Life or death, is that book real?’ I have to say I don’t know. But it’s real enough to me.”
“Sometimes you have to just put it out there. Maybe not 100% of the book is true, but maybe 80% is. That is to get those people to come forward and either corroborate or deny [the claims], and that helps me as an investigator to know the truth.”

Kim Porter’s Kids Discredit the Alleged Book
Kim Porter’s alleged book has also been discredited by her and Diddy’s kids. Their kids have even threatened to take the Kim Porter book author, Todd, to court. They rubbished the claims the book made and referred to them as one of the many “hurtful and false rumors circulating bout our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship.”
The kids also denied rumors that their mom wrote a book before she passed on. Furthermore, they recounted how important she was and how they felt when she died. “She was our world, and nothing has been the same since she passed.”
“While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon, the cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play. Grief is a lifelong process, and we ask that everyone respect our request for peace as we continue to cope with her loss every day,” they said in a statement.
