Again, Lamar Odom is in the news for the wrong reasons. The 45-year-old has attracted condemnation after ordering a sex doll modeled after his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian. The retired NBA star paid $8000 for the life-size with Kardashian’s physical features. Social media users have slammed the “creepy” move.
The news of the purchase surfaced after Odom’s manager opened up to TMZ in an interview. Gina Rodriguez told the entertainment news website that Odom bought the doll so he could do anything he pleased with the Khloe Kardashian replica. However, the disclosure has drawn anger and disgust from the internet.
Lamar Odom and Kardashian used to be married until their divorce in 2016 due to Odom’s drug use and infidelity. Almost a decade later, Lamar Odom doesn’t seem to have gotten over the separation. This new purchase of a doll seems to many as his attempt to spite the reality TV star.
Odom acquired the doll from RealDoll, a popular life-size sex doll manufacturer who he had heard about from the news.
The company reportedly sells their dolls for $8000 to $20000. However, Odom reportedly got his for a discount. The former sportsman also took a tour of the company’s factory in October during his visit to Las Vegas’ Sin City as part of his birthday celebration.
The Los Angeles Lakers legend hasn’t yet taken delivery of the doll because it is still under construction. But the company expects to deliver the product to him before the end of the year.

Social Media Reacts to Lamar Odom’s Weird Interest in a Kardashian Doll
Odom’s acquisition of the sex doll sparked a lot of backlash as soon as the news hit social media. Already, many internet users had reservations about his actions while touring the RealDoll factory. A video of the tour showed Lamar Odom playfully handling a dildo before he proceeded to inspect a line of half-naked dolls that were hanging from hooks.
At one point, company staff showed him a doll that had the “biggest t*ts” and the “biggest a*s.” He took some time to inspect the product, fondling the breast and touching one of its feet. He was impressed with how convincingly similar to a human being it looked. “It look like she got blood running through her veins right here,” he remarked.
Reacting to his purchase of the Khloe Kardashian look-alike doll, a social media queried, “Eww, this is so creepy.. like, why would u even want that?” Others guessed that he had slipped back into his drug use problems. One X user said, “I long for the old days where if you reverted to having sex with a doll, out of sheer embarrassment, you keep that to yourself…”

Lamar Odom and Kim Kardashian were husband and wife from 2009 to 2016. However, the marriage suffered numerous setbacks, most of which resulted from Odom’s serial infidelity and excessive drug use. Kardashian finally decided to call it quits in 2013. However, the marriage contract remained valid for the next three years.
At one point during their marriage, they released a perfume line together called Unbreakable Bond. Ironically, the bond of their union wasn’t as strong as people had thought.

Before his relationship and marriage to Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom had abandoned a relationship with actress Taraji P. Henson. Although admitting that he ended the relationship with Henson the wrong way, he stated why the romance couldn’t last. According to him, their age difference was a major factor.
“I just wish I could have done things differently with her,” he stated in an interview. “She was a little older than me, but I learned a lot from her because that was the most significant relationship as a grown-up that I had with a black woman,” he added. Notably, Taraji. P. Henson is ten years older than he is.
“Things ended with Taraji because me being an immature punk, I didn’t know how to tell her I was falling in love with another woman named Khloe Kardashian,” he added. Lamar Odom only dated Kardashian for one month before they got married.

In 2015, in the thick of their divorce, Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel in October 2015. He had suffered a near-fatal drug overdose. This incident delayed their divorce as Kardashian had to withdraw the application so she could stay by his side and make crucial decisions for him as his wife.
However, this show of love didn’t last long, as they finalized the dissolution of their union in 2016. Kardashian’s support during his lowest moments makes Odom’s decision to buy her sex doll look-alike even more puzzling.
