The Kardashian-Jenner sister trio of Kylie, Kendall, and Kim had a mini family reunion with loads of fun on October 19, 2024. The millionaire sisters were at the Academy Museum Gala, which was held in Los Angeles. It was an amazing time for laughter and strengthening the family bond. The sisters also caught up with lots of other celebrities in attendance.
Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Kim Kardashian were just a drop in the ocean of entertainment industry heavyweights at the event. The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ Museum Gala guest list was star-studded, featuring celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Demi Moore, Sarah Paulson, John Legend, Ariana Grande, Jessica Biel, and John Travolta.
However, the three sisters stood out from the rest with stunning red carpet looks. Kim Kardashian wore a vintage white corset. She complemented it with a Thierry Mugler’s spring 1998 collection robe coat, which matched it beautifully, and a pair of nude heels. She also had on a glittering piece of necklace.
Kendall put on a black Schiaparelli gown with a number of chest cutouts. For Kylie, a semi-sheer nude gown with a black bottom section that began from her hips downward was the right clothing to exude glam. The sisters posed on the red carpet before joining other celebrities for photos.
The sisters spent time with Kaia Gerber, Sarah Paulson, and Demi Moore. Kylie couldn’t wait to post the amazing photos on her social media. When she finally did, her caption read, “Thierry Mugler 1998 couture, for a very special sister night.” Khloe Kardashian, who missed out on all the fun from the event, liked the post and jokingly wrote, “I am mad at you.”

The gala retained its long-time sponsor, Rolex, which has stood behind the museum since it began its operations. The co-chairs of the 2024 edition include Academy Museum Trustee and scientist Dr. Eric Esrailian.
Others are Academy Award-nominee Salma Hayek Pinault, Academy Award-winner Nicole Kidman, Academy Museum Trustee Eva Longoria, and Academy Museum Founding Supporter and ace filmmaker Tyler Perry.
Other members of the Academy Museum Gala 2024 star-studded guest lists include Rita Moreno, Ayo Edebiri, Taraji P. Henson, Eddie Redmayne, Joe Alwyn, and Cynthia Erivo. When Did the Academy Museum Open?
The Academy Museum of Motion Picture opened on September 30, 2001. The Los Angeles museum was initially billed to open in 2020, but the plan suffered a setback due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, the museum has treated visitors to the best of moviemaking exhibitions.
Visitors will leave with a robust knowledge of filmmaking. A gallery called the “Art of Moviemaking” was specifically designed to show visitors the whole process of filmmaking. Visitors will see how the various parts of a movie project come together, from the screenwriting, casting, cinematography, and special effects to the scoring.
They will also witness the magic of postproduction. The museum will also give insight into some of the great works of legendary filmmakers. Visitors will understand what went on behind the work of notable movie greats such as Bruce Lee and Oscar Micheaux.
Through sections such as The Costume Institute, visitors will also see how sound designers, visual effect artists, costume designers, animators, and makeup artists arrive at their innovative creations.
