Vinny Guadagnino of “Jersey Shore” recently dropped a dating bombshell during a crossover episode with the Whoreible Decisions podcast. Guadagnino revealed that he prefers dating Black women, stating that he “almost exclusively gravitates towards them.”
His news came about 13 minutes into the interview. It also surprised some, raising eyebrows at his romantic inclinations. Jokingly, he confirmed his love for chocolate, sparking a conversation about love, attraction, and identity.
Why Is Vinny Guadagnino into Black Women?
Guadagnino’s disclosure about his dating choices was not just because of attraction. He further explained that his choice for Black women stems from the adage: “Once you go Black, you know.”
Besides, everyone knows that the darker the berry, the sweeter the juice. Aside from all these, Guadagnino still related his choice to beauty, connection, and culture. I think we all see what Guadagnino sees.
Guadagnino’s preference for women with curves led him to appreciate the fuller and thicker figures often found in the Black community. As mentioned earlier, Guadagnino loves culture. This cultural affinity fuels his rapport with Black individuals compared to other ethnicities like Latinas.
If it’s about curves, the Latinas have it too, but are they people of culture? Guadagnino says no.

Apart from preferring to date Black women, Vinny Guadagnino revealed another aspect of his dating standards: an inclination for tall, “avatar” looking women. It’s true what they say that romantic pursuits must show specific tastes and desires in a potential partner.
Vinny Guadagnino’s Dating History Says Otherwise
Despite Vinny Guadagnino’s professed preference for Black women, his public dating history appears to paint a different picture. His history doesn’t even have any touch of melanin. All his romantic entanglements have largely featured women from reality TV, many of whom do not share the same melanin-rich complexion.
They include “Jersey Shore” stars Angelina Pivarnick, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, and Ramona Nitu. In addition to his co-stars, contestants from reality shows like “Too Hot to Handle” and “Double Shot at Love” are also on Guadagnino’s dating history roster.
However, only one Black woman, Alysse Joyner, stands out in the lineup. This difference between the star’s stated preferences and his actual dating history adds conspiracy to his romantic journey, raising questions about the complexities of attraction, compatibility, and the realities of celebrity relationships.
