However, everything seemed to be in place by the time she got to the game. The American rapper and actress showed up with her man, Offset, in a schoolgirl look rather than a sporty one.
Cardi B wore a pleated miniskirt that had an ultra-high slit and a cropped blue gingham button-up. She matched her look with white-heeled boots, a gold chain choker, a pair of Y2K sunglasses, and a pair of pink clips on her hair.

Cardi B’s Original 2024 Met Gala Look
Before the Met Gala, the WAP rapper showed behind-the-scenes footage of her preparation for the event. In the video, Cardi B was seen wearing prosthetics to look like an elderly woman. She also wore curly grey hair to accompany the look.
However, in another clip she released on TikTok, Cardi B said she wasn’t going on with the look because she “was a little bit scared of how the pictures would come out.” She also said, “A lot of people aren’t creative like me. We think outside the box.”

Her makeup artist seemed to have gone ahead with her decision so quickly, as he shared a picture of the look on his Instagram with the caption, “Creative directions, it happens, but a really cool BTS look at what could have been the Sleeping Beauty look.”
Cardi B’s dress was designed by Windowsen. The designer made the dress in black and teal. However, Cardi B went for the black dress. She said the dress reminded her of a black rose. She also added that she’d take the dress off immediately after the Gala because it is heavy.
Cardi B Addresses Marital Issues With Offset
Cardi B and Offset got married after dating for less than a year. After their wedding, they had an off-and-on relationship. In 2020, Cardi B filed for a divorce, but they later called it off. As of December 2023, Cardi B and Offset announced that they were splitting.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Cardi B said that she and her husband have things to work on before trying marriage again. “We have our own bad stuff,” the 31-year-old told the outlet. “We’re from two different worlds. Sometimes, I cannot be—not that I cannot be a wife. It’s just like my career takes my life.”

Will Cardi B Get Back With Offest?
Cardi B explained that her “career comes first” and her “kids come second.” Sometimes, I don’t realize that I’m putting so many things before my relationship,” she added. The American rapper fully acknowledges her shortcomings, but she clarified that she isn’t ready to change anything right now.
She said this: “I don’t want to grow.” “I remember last year when we was going through a hard time. And it’s like, ‘Put your album out. You’re overstressing. When was the last time we went on a vacation?’ And it’s like, ‘I don’t have time to go on a vacation because this comes first.’”
When Cardi B was asked about her decision to divorce Offset, she said she had decided to think it through. Since the announcement of their split, there have been rumors every month that the two parties are reconciling.
They’ve also been in each other’s faces, from sitting together at the Met Gala to sitting together at the New York Knicks Game. They also admitted to being intimate even after the split was announced.
