American sports team owner and mother of two, Brittany Mahomes is in need of parenting tips. The former soccer player sent out a plea to fellow mothers from her Instagram account on Sunday, July 28, 2024.
She needs help pulling her second child from a “bad habit” he developed after her recent travels to Europe.
Brittany Mahomes Calls for Help
On Sunday, 28-year-old Brittany shared a post on her Instagram asking other toddler moms for help with her son, Bronze. She claims Bronze has refused to eat anywhere other than in front of a TV screen.
“Alright, mamas or professionals. We started a bad habit with Bronze while on vacation. We started letting him watch TV when eating, literally just to keep him chill and not throw fits in public.”
Solution Becomes a Problem
The problem began while Brittany and her husband, Patrick Mahomes, were in Europe on an extended family vacation. It was the NFL off-season, which is the best time for family travel.
Initially, the plan worked like magic until Bronze got so used to it that he no longer wanted to eat without the TV on. Now, Brittany Mahomes needs help reversing the practice.
Brittany Mahomes and Her Baby’s TV Addiction
According to the former soccer player, Bronze would “literally eat anything we gave him in silence, and it was great!” At least for a while.
“Well, now we have been trying to break this now that we are home, but he legit will not eat a single thing unless he gets a show and then, if he does, will eat anything,” she complained.

Brittany Mahomes Appeals for Help
The Kansas City Current co-owner then appealed to her followers for their assistance. “I need secrets on how to break this and get him to eat!” she wrote. “Please share all the tips if you have any,” she said.
Thereafter, she opened a question-and-answer box on the social media platform, from which she would get the answers she needed.
Brittany Mahomes Kids
Bronze is Brittany Mahomes’ second child. Her first is a 3-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye, whom she and Patrick Mahomes had before they got married. The couple hasn’t been shy about flaunting the bundle of joy in public.
Sterling has followed her parents to a good number of public outings. One of these was organized by her father’s team, a players and family members event by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes announced the birth of their second child in November 2022, about eight months after they tied the knot in March.
They unveiled the name of the baby via a joint Instagram post. The post contained a photo of the baby’s legs in a brown and white onesie with a caption that carried the infant’s name, “Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III.”
Brittany Mahomes Has Always Updated Her Followers About Her Parenting Journey
Interestingly, Brittany Mahomes has always shared news about her parental journey on Instagram. She has shared her challenges and joys as a mother of toddlers.
For example, in May 2024, she shared a post on the social media app of her and her daughter, Sterling. In the video, she told her followers that the baby was recovering from a “stomach virus.”

A Visit to Patrick Mahomes’ Training Camp
In another Instagram post, the young mother recently made, she showed herself and her kids having a good time at the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp.
She and the kids came to spend some time with her husband as the quarterback prepares for the new season. The posts contained several photos, including one of her and Patrick posing on the field.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes entered each other’s worlds in Texas. They started a close relationship in 2011 and dated for several years.
Brittany said she knew he was going to play professional football as soon as he started studying at Texas Tech. “It was surreal to see him living his dream and seeing him grow as an athlete and as a man in general was just amazing,” she said.
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes Marriage
Patrick Mahomes proposed to Brittany in 2020. At the time, she was a personal trainer and fitness entrepreneur. Afterward, they got married in their dream wedding location in Hawaii.
Brittany Mahomes also had a great career as a soccer player for an Icelandic multi-sports club called UMF Afturelding. Even after her retirement, she has kept one foot in the sports as an investor.
