Gwen Stefani has revealed what fuels her love for Blake Shelton. They have truly come a long way in their association, and their bond seems to have grown stronger over the years. Recently, Stefani revealed Shelton’s secret character, which makes her continue to find him fascinating and attractive.
Speaking on the October 2 episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” Gwen Stefani disclosed that she fell in love with her husband’s laughter. “The thing about Blake is that you’ll never get through a day without laughing,” she said. Stefani was on the show to talk about “The Voice!” and Shelton’s departure from the show.
Along the line, the host became curious about how Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have kept the fire burning. In addition to his charming laughter, Stefani added other attributes that draw her to her husband.
“You know what I mean? Which is just— it doesn’t even matter like what’s going on. The guy has so much patience and so much kindness in his heart.” Also, the “Underneath It All” singer, who is set to drop a new album, “Bouquet,” revealed the impact of her husband’s laughter on her.
“It just makes you happier every single day,” she stated. She explained that Blake Shelton’s laughter was all she needed to get through the day. Gwen Stefani, 55, added that laughter is a crucial part of life and is one of the things “we’re all chasing” every day.
All she needed was someone to bring that aspect of life to her world. “That’s more than enough,” Jennifer Hudson stated. “That’s more than enough,” Stefani concurred.

Where Did Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Meet?
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton met on the set of “The Voice” in April 2013. It was Stefani’s first season on the show, and two months after she gave birth to her son Apollo. She spoke about this period in her life in another show. She described it as the “second miracle” she got after joining “The Voice.”
“The first miracle was getting pregnant. The second was ‘The Voice.’ And then the third was, obviously, meeting Blake.” At the time they met, Shelton, now 47, had already stamped his foot as an almost indispensable participant on the show where he served as a coach/mentor for raw musical/singing talents.
Shelton remained on the show for 23 seasons since he joined its debut season in 2011. He was part of the original panel of coaches, including Adam Levine, CeeLo Green, and Christina Aguilera. One year later, they tied the knot. Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani exchanged vows on July 3, 2021, at Shelton’s ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. After that, they continued to enjoy a blissful relationship, with Shelton calling Stefani “magical” while speaking with reporters.

“I think the only way for me to really do that (parenting) right is to step away from being committed to something like ‘The Voice’ that demands a lot of your time,” he said in a January 2023 interview. “There’s no way around it.
