On Saturday, July 13, local authorities received an email in the evening that some explosive devices were placed at four popular tourist spots on the island.
Matt Damon and his wife enjoyed their time at the Santana Beach Club. A TikTok user, Elena Casablanca Nyamwaya Odul, captured footage of the evacuation while dining nearby and later shared it online. In the video, Damon and Luciana left the area calmly, waving to onlookers.

Initially, Odul, popularly known as Queen Casablanca, didn’t know about the bomb threats. She became aware of it after speaking with locals post-evacuation. Following the email, reports from local outlets indicated that police immediately instructed the affected venues to cease music and initiate evacuations.
Despite the alarming circumstances, authorities later confirmed the threat as a deception, reassuring the public of their safety. A source revealed that Matt Damon stayed composed and cooperative throughout the evacuation process. However, the Mykonos Police are still yet to respond to questions.

Matt Damon and his wife enjoyed a dramatic seaside retreat on the stunning island of Mykonos, Greece. The couple, who have been married for 19 years, were spotted relaxing by the sea on Wednesday, July 10.
Later, they took a leisurely stroll, with Luciana affectionately touching her husband’s back in a moment captured by fans. During their vacation, Damon went swimming in the Aegean Sea, and the couple engaged in a catch game.
Damon and Luciana share three daughters—Isabella, 16, Gia, 14, and Stella, 13—while Luciana also has a daughter, Alexia, 24, from a previous marriage. Mykonos has always been Damon and Luciana’s ideal vacation destination.

They were previously photographed at the same beach where the recent threat occurred, often visiting spots like the Tasos Taverna seafood restaurant. Last year, the couple’s affection was everywhere as Damon was seen kissing Luciana’s stomach, and she lovingly wrapped her arms around him during their vacation.
Their romantic getaway also included spending time with friends, such as Liam and Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky, a close friend of Luciana’s.

As previously mentioned, the duo has been to Mykonos several times with friends. Recently, they enjoyed a lively vacation on the Greek island with their friends, including Chris and Liam Hemsworth.
The Hollywood couple, known for their close friendship with the Hemsworths, indulged in smoking cigars, dancing, and capturing memorable moments together. During one particularly joyful scene, Damon, 52, was in high spirits as he danced with Luciana, 46.
Witnesses described a playful moment where Damon did a cowboy-style move, pulling his wife towards him while the Hemsworth brothers looked on, sharing laughs. Their bond is no surprise, as Chris Hemsworth’s wife, Elsa Pataky, previously revealed in January 2018 that their families connected through mutual friends.
Ever since, they have enjoyed vacations together. Pataky, 46, admires the Damons. She constantly describes them as “amazing people” who share similar family dynamics—Chris and Elsa have three kids, while Damon and Luciana have four.
Regarding their friendship, Pataky once shared, “The Damons came here for Christmas, and we were all together, and it was a really inspirational time.” She also mentioned a shared experience where the group got matching tattoos as a reminder of their cherished moments.
The tattoos are symbolized by three dots on their pinkies, with plans to add another tattoo each year.
