Who Happened to Gypsy Rose Blanchard?
Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s early life was fraught with severe medical conditions, as she was made to believe she had leukemia, muscular dystrophy, and asthma, among other ailments. Her poor health was due to her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard’s health status as well.
Dee Dee suffered from Munchausen syndrome by proxy—a rare disorder where a caregiver invents or exaggerates medical conditions in someone else to gain attention or sympathy. What on earth? As I mentioned earlier, Blanchard became famous in 2015 after she stabbed her mother, Dee Dee, to death in their home near Springfield, Missouri.

Blanchard’s Reconnection With Her First Love
Gypsy Rose Blanchard explained that her reconnection with Urker began as a friendship, emphasizing that it wasn’t a sudden transition from her marriage to a new relationship. She noted that they had maintained a friendly relationship for a long time, even when they were both in separate relationships and living their own lives.
After her marriage to Anderson ended, Blanchard noted that Uker was her support system. It was then that she realized that rekindling the friendship wasn’t a bad idea. At least, she knew that would allow her to satisfy her desire to reconnect with him, as they hadn’t had the opportunity to spend time together outside of prison.
According to Gypsy Rose Blanchard, Uker was her first mature love. Their relationship wasn’t based on fantasy but on a natural bond between two people. In May, Blanchard’s stepmother, Kristy Blanchard, revealed that Urker was planning to move to Louisiana to be with Gypsy Rose Blanchard.
Kristy admitted that she had encouraged the reunion, taking responsibility for bringing them back together. She noted that she was happy for her step-daughter, believing she would finally get her “happily ever after” with Urker.
Kristy shared that Gypsy Rose Blanchard was thrilled about Urker’s move to New Orleans, looking forward to having him closer and cherishing their love.
