After a brutal winter and months of minimal makeup, we’re ready for spring makeup looks to come back in full force. Sure, some of us have embraced our bare skin over the years, but we’re prepared to have fun again and dip into our ever-growing stash of eye shadow palettes and lipsticks. The weather is getting warmer, and the better way to celebrate it is with pastel eye colors.
From one-shade shimmer gloss to a bold liner, you can opt for a two-shaded eye look if you have a bright outfit that needs to be tied together or add a sexy feel with a dewy shadow. There is something for everyone, and because of the endless colors makeup brands now produce, it is easy to personalize.
Blue Liner Makeup
A navy liner is the perfect choice for a hint of wearable color. Use Chanel’s Stylo Yeux Waterproof in Fervent Blue all around your eyes for maximum drama, or try just a smudge on your upper waterline for a touch of blue.
Shimmer Sprinkle
Yes, there is a subtle way to shimmer. Tap an iridescent eyeshadow with your finger to create just a sprinkling of gleam. Add a touch of gloss and some blush, and you’re good to go.

Sunset Eyes
The sun may be setting later, but you can still channel the most magical time of day with your makeup. Swipe a bright orange eyeshadow across your lids and under your lower lash line. Add a swipe of black liner and some generous mascara to make your eyes pop.
Two-Tone Liner Makeup
You don’t have to pick one color for your liner. Two or more shades are twice as nice. Keep the lines sharp for a more graphic look, or blur the colors into each other for a watercolor effect.
Pastel Lids
Sure, pastels for spring aren’t the most groundbreaking, but there’s a reason we keep coming back to them. They’re so damn pretty. Paired with minimal makeup everywhere else, a streak of yellow or blue feels unexpected.
Euphoria Eyes
Euphoria is still inspiring our makeup routines. While season two was packed with incredible looks, the cloud liner Jules wears in both the first season and the bridge episodes is perfect for spring.
However, if you’re not confident in your liner skills, go for these stickers that the show’s makeup artist, Donni Davy, created to emulate the look.
Popsicle lips
The so-called popsicle pout isn’t new nor reserved for springtime. But the juicy, just-bitten look is simple, flattering, and easily customizable to your color preferences. Use your finger to lightly dab a pigmented lip stain onto the center of your lips, leaving the outer corners bare.
Batwing Liner
Most current beauty trends are firmly rooted in ’90s and early ’2000s nostalgia. However, ’60s-inspired double-winged eyeliner, A.K.A. batwing liner, is a nice break from the early-aughts mania. It opens your eyes and makes them appear bigger and more feminine, almost doll-like. You need a steady hand and some practice, but anyone can do it.
Other Pastel Makeup Ideas
Embrace the season’s pastel palette by swapping out your go-to nude eyeshadow for a more seasonal (but, in our opinion, equally wearable) periwinkle shade. Use a small brush to apply the same color to your lower lash line, blending the pigment out once again.

Also, tap some highlighter onto your inner corner, sweep on a coat or two of mascara, and your easy Easter eyeshadow look is complete. Furthermore, when we think of spring eye makeup, we think of the color green, which is one reason we love this graphic green-winged look for warmer days. Trace your upper lash line, extending the line into a dramatic wing.
Then, draw another line just above your crease, following the curve of your orbital bone. You’ll be left with a graphic negative space that looks perfect for any parties you have planned. Lastly, pink makeup looks gorgeous year-round, but it just feels right for springtime. For a more unexpected way to wear the shade, take a hot pink shadow through your crease instead of your lids.
