Love found its home on the latest Bachelor finale as Joey Graziadei engaged to Kelsey Anderson. Notably, this isn’t your regular romance. Graziadei, at 28, and Anderson, 25, are enjoying the engagement bliss without rushing to the altar.
In an interview, Graziadei said, “We want to promise our lives together, but we don’t want to rush it.” Together with Anderson, he said, “It’s time now to enjoy this. We have the rest of our lives to celebrate it. We’re going to take it day by day and just enjoy this time.”
Regarding the wedding plans, Anderson admits, “I honestly don’t know what I want my wedding to look like. I definitely want all my close friends and family there. I think I want a very timeless wedding, but where? Not sure. I guess we’re going to have to figure that out.”
Joey Graziadei and Anderson’s Game Plan for Forever
Joey Graziadei says a longer engagement means more time to ace the perfect wedding plans. He said, “I’m sure more ideas will come out of that. We have no interest in putting it off; we just don’t want to rush through it. We want it to be something that feels special together.”

But before the duo say “I do,” they’re prepping us for an engagement bash in New Orleans, where Anderson lives. “I’m excited to celebrate our love and for everyone to meet Joey,” says the junior project manager.
After the bash, the duo will embark on a new adventure—making New York City their home base. “We’re young, and I think now is the time to live in a tiny, cramped apartment together and experience it. Even if we hate it, at least we can say we did it.” I love this urban love story!
Joey Graziadei and Anderson’s NYC Adventure
With the joy of their engagement still fresh, Joey Graziadei gears up for a new adventure with his bride-to-be. What could that be, you ask? Well, the duo are looking to trade sandy shores for skyscrapers. Graziadei thinks it will be fun, imagining their move to the Big Apple.
A self-proclaimed beach lover, Graziadei’s journey from Hawaii to New York City truly means a lot. “I’ve really come to love New York from the time I spent there. It does have a different feel. I’ve never lived in a big city,” he said.
“My family lives in the Philly area, and I have close friends there. So, the idea of being close to them finally is going to be great. I think it is the right time to do it, so we’re excited.”

The duo plans to move to New York City by the end of the summer and stand on the idea of “spending a year or two there.” Although wedding bells aren’t ringing yet, Anderson already knows Joey Graziadei will be “an amazing husband.”
What the Future Holds
Besides thinking he’ll make a good husband, Anderson also thinks Graziadei will be a fantastic father. She gushes, recognizing his intense nature and grounding presence. Given the qualities she admires, she sees her father in him. And she can’t help but think of her mother’s advice to find a partner with similar attributes.
In turn, Graziadei finds peace in Anderson’s light-hearted approach to life. “She balances me out. She just has this fun energy about her. No matter who she meets in the room, she makes them feel seen and special and has this bright light about her,” the TV star said. “I’ve always said, ‘I can’t imagine how I wouldn’t enjoy life when I have her by my side.’ “
Butterfly Blessings
Since Anderson’s mother passed from breast cancer in 2018, butterflies have become a significant symbol of her mother’s spirit. A recent encounter with a butterfly, its wing gently bruised, moved Anderson’s heart. She noted that the butterfly crawled up her hand, and it just wouldn’t leave.”
With a puzzling sense of comfort, she tenderly placed the fragile creature on a nearby flower, finding comfort in the short connection. For Anderson, these encounters are more than mere coincidence; they’re signs of her mother’s continued presence. They bring several emotions: happiness, gratitude, and an overwhelming sense of love.
