An unfortunate incident occurred on Saturday, July 20, when Henrico County Police responded to an emergency call. The call was concerning an unresponsive woman in Sandston, Virginia. When the officials eventually got there around 3:15 p.m., they met 27-year-old Autumn Crittendon unconscious.
Notably, Autumn Crittendon is a former cast member of “16 and Pregnant.” Despite the efforts of the Henrico Fire personnel to revive her, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Currently, authorities have launched a death investigation and are working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to ascertain the precise cause and manner of her passing.

Who Is Autumn Crittendon?
You’d most likely know Autumn Crittendon for her appearance in season 5 of MTV’s “16 and Pregnant.” She was a mother of three and was pregnant with her first child, Drake, when she was in the show.

According to a report, Crittendon has been unwell for a while. She constantly experienced heartburn, plus she was struggling with diabetes, kidney issues, and blood pressure issues. While these conditions could be the reason behind her death, the significant cause remains under investigation.
The news of her passing was shared by her sister Misty on Facebook, though the post has since been deleted. In her heartfelt tribute, Misty wrote about the profound loss, saying, “You were robbed of your life at such a tender age.”
“You left before anyone could tell you goodbye. How much we love you, how amazing you are, and how proud we are of you for staying sober through some of the toughest parts of your life,” she added.
She continued, “I promise you I will love life in your honor. These babies will always know how much you love them, how amazing you are, how special you are, how much you sacrificed and overcame for them, everything and nothing short of it.”

After the message, Misty changed her Facebook profile picture to a childhood picture of the two siblings. She also used the hashtags #JusticeforAutumn and #CrittendonStrong to express her grief and seek justice.

Just so you know, Autumn Crittendon’s death came after another recent death of the same show’s alum, Sean Garinger. Sean Garinger died in an ATV accident earlier this year at age 20. His mother, Mary Hobbs, noted that the tragic incident occurred when he was moving the ATV to help her park, and the ground gave way due to rain and mud.
Hobbs added that the ATV then flipped and “crushed” Garinger’s skull. In her statement, she recounted, “I ran to neighbors, trying to get someone to help me get the ATV off of him. No one answered. I ran back to him. By that time, I realized he wasn’t alive anymore.”
Notably, Garinger was featured on season 6 of “16 and Pregnant” and shared two children with Selena Gutierrez.
