Guess who’s totally chill about kicking it during his jail stint or house arrest? Donald Trump! It’s no longer news that the former president was convicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.
In a recent Fox News interview, Trump casually addressed the possible penalties. Honestly, Trump’s got this Zen vibe going on because how is he okay with serving a jail term or house arrest?
As if that weren’t shocking enough, Trump further revealed that when he caught one of his lawyers on TV pleading for leniency for the president, he shut it down pronto, telling him not to beg for anything.
Although it seems Trump has finally embraced the groove of his actions, he recently gave a side-eye to how the public might react. Will they accept or vibe with the whole crisis? We can not be so sure about that. Moreover, we all know people have their breaking points regarding certain actions.

Notably, these statements were made just days after a Manhattan jury found Trump guilty of all charges related to his Hush Moeny case. In case you don’t remember, Trump is the first former president convicted of a felony and the first major-party presidential candidate to be sentenced during a campaign for the presidency. What a record!
Trump Faces Sentencing as He Awaits Verdict on Conviction
Judge Juan Merchan has scheduled former President Donald Trump’s sentencing for 10 a.m. ET on July 11. It’s just scary because Trump could face probation or up to four years in state prison for each of the 34 counts, potentially totaling a maximum of 20 years.
Currently, Trump remains free as he awaits sentencing. In a Fox News interview, he maintained his innocence, condemning those involved in his conviction as “sick.” According to Trump, he is fighting for the Constitution. He added that the trial had been more challenging for his family than for himself.
Specifically speaking for his wife, former first lady Melania Trump, he noted that she is fine, but having to read all those crap is unfair. He noted that winning sounds beautiful when asked about the possibility of seeking political redistribution should he win the upcoming election.

However, given everything he did, it is awfully hard to win. More recently, Trump speculated that there would be a breaking point for the public, most especially if he ends up serving a jail term or house arrest after his conviction. True that!
Trump Discusses Potential Sentencing and Supporters’ Reactions
Following Trump’s conviction in the hush money trial, his supporters have become violent. As if that isn’t enough, they have particularly targeted Judge Merchan and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. as reported by NBC News.
Notably, the threats against the judge and DA are available on the same websites used by Trump supporters to coordinate the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack. Additionally, a message board frequented by Trump supporters even intended to release the jurors’ addresses publicly in the case.
Notably, Trump’s charges are classified as an E felony, punishable by a fine, probation, or up to four years’ sentence per count. It’d shock you to hear that some still believe Trump will unlikely serve time behind bars, given his age, lack of criminal records, and more. Sooner or later, we will know the outcome.
Since the completion of the trial, Trump maintains that the proceedings were “rigged.” Recently, when speaking to reporters and supporters at Trump Tower, he asserted that the whole thing is a scam. As he puts it, “There’s a rigged trial. It shouldn’t have been in that venue. We shouldn’t have had that judge.”
