It is no news that former president Trump is contesting for a second tenure as president of the United States. In an open conversation with news media Time Magazine, he revealed his intention to create detention camps for illegal migrants in America. Trump says he has no intention to take off anything and is open to embracing new strategies to combat the immigration issue.
Voter’s Opinion
A survey by Reuter showed the displeasure of voters towards Trump’s detention camp idea. A huge number of Americans who voted resisted the plan of keeping migrants illegally in camps. At the same time, they anticipate being sent back to their countries, as this may be a brutal way Trump is looking to address the issue.
The survey results showed that fifty-four percent of participants were against the detention camp concept, thirty-six were for it, and ten percent were unsure if it was a good move or not. Another fifty-six supported that illegal migrants should be sent back to their countries.
In a conversation with news media Reuter, Karoline Leavitt, the mouthpiece of Trump’s election campaign, refused to speak on the possibility of executing the detention camp idea. According to Leavitt, Trump would mobilize all authorities, officials, and administrative power needed to enforce deportation activity.
Roles of National Guard in Border Security
According to Trump, the camp would be utilized to hasten the return process. The idea is not to keep the migrants in the camp for long but to speed up the process and return them to their countries.
Trump also identified some other reasons that could be fueling the immigrant issue, such as illicit entry through the border. He believes that the National Guard has what it takes to ensure the regulations on borders are carried out. He trusts in their capacity rather than involving the military.

The National Guard might be the first security point, but Trump is not ruling out military involvement if necessary. He said this signifies his readiness to apply the necessary force to enact the immigration regulations.
Angry Speech on Immigrant
Trump’s opinion on the Pose Comitatus Act, which limits military participation in domestic law enforcement, has sparked a debate. According to him, these individuals are not authorized in our nation, which could be a violation of the nation’s sovereignty.
In a statement released by Reuter, Trump allegedly used harsh and abusive words to characterize the illicit immigrants, calling them animals and claiming they have poisoned the blood of the nation. This statement didn’t go well, as it has called for massive backlash for such a demeanor.
Criticism of Attorneys
Trump, facing multiple charges, has aired his plight against Attorney Alvin Bragg. He expressed unhappiness toward what was done to him and decided not to get revenge regarding his statement about aspiring to be a tyrant for a day. He told Time it was meant to be a joke and the statement should be interpreted literally.

Managing Difficulties in Policy Regulation
Trump stated that implementing efficient regulations without sufficient government backing is a huge challenge. He stressed the importance of receiving reinforcement from necessary federal institutions to execute his ideas properly, especially in safety and immigration.
There are immigration regulations that can foster the growth of the American economy, which he often emphasized. In serving the nation’s best interest, it is essential to have a system that is based on merit to welcome productive migrants into the country, he added.
Free and Fair Election Process
Trump believes the last election in 2020 was not free and fair and that he was robbed of winning, which has been his driving force for a comeback to claim this seat for the second tenure. He also made his intentions known: If he wins the forthcoming presidential election, it will be his last time and the end of his involvement in the political space.
