Ask former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy any question except those concerning his alleged affair with a journalist. So far, RFK Jr doesn’t have an answer or comment regarding mounting accusations of a “sexting” affair with New York Magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi.
“I don’t make comments on it,” was his reply when journalists pushed him on the matter on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Kennedy had a glorious opportunity to address the rumors of his relationship with the journalist during an interview with Fox News.
Fox News’ host, Martha MacCallum, said she wanted to give Kennedy the chance to “address some headlines.” She asked Kennedy, 70, if he had any “regrets” over the romantic text messages he allegedly exchanged with the reporter. However, he declined to comment.
RFK Jr Dodged Question About Olivia Nuzzi
“It’s gotten a lot of attention. So what do you say to your supporters who question your behavior and want to know what’s going on?” MacCallum quizzed. Kennedy declined to answer the question. Instead, he said, “If you want to talk about health or how to end the war in Ukraine or how to end inflation and or how to end the censorship and surveillance regime, I’m happy to talk about those.”
MacCallum refused to retreat and made another attempt. “But, as a person, or do you have any regrets about anything,” MacCallum further probed. “Like I said, I don’t make comments on it,” Kennedy responded.
These were Kennedy’s first public interactions since news broke that the magazine had placed Nuzzi, 31, on leave. The news agency took the action a week after learning that their high-flying correspondent allegedly “engaged in a personal relationship with a former subject relevant to the 2024 campaign while she was reporting on the campaign.”
Reports say RFK Jr has been considering filing a lawsuit against Nuzzi after the rumors broke out. It was a mutual friend of Nuzzi who claimed that the reporter had been sending the politician and environmental lawyer nude photos over several months.

Although the news outlet didn’t name RFK Jr, it was already pretty clear he was involved. RFK Jr ran for president as an independent candidate until he suspended his campaign in August. He told his supporters to vote for former President Donald Trump instead. On their part, New York Magazine declined to speak further on the issue.
