Usher wrapped up the Super Bowl weekend in a memorable fashion with the joyous sound of wedding bells!
The “U Got It Bad” crooner thrilled fans on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, with a series of snapshots on his Instagram. These pictures revealed his recent nuptials to his longtime sweetheart, Jennifer Goicoechea.
The ceremony happened in Las Vegas on February 11, a few hours after Usher’s performance at Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium. He captioned the photos, “One of Them Ones,” offering fans a glimpse into the romantic celebration.
In a romantic setting, Usher and Goicoechea sealed their vows. The intimate ceremony occurred at the Fast Lane drive-thru tunnel, part of the Vegas wedding venue. According to People, their witness was only Usher’s mum, Jonetta Patton.
Furthermore, the President of Vegas Weddings, Melody Willis-Williams, congratulated the newlyweds. She expressed joy over hosting the couple on their special day. Praising the unforgettable Super Bowl performance, Willis-Williams acknowledges Usher’s phenomenal energy to the event, making it an epic celebration.

According to reports, the couple have been on their romantic journey since 2019. Ever since then, they have embraced the joys of parenthood. In 2020, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Soverign Bo. Furthermore, in 2021, their family expanded with the arrival of their son, Sire Castrello.
Besides his kids with Goicoechea, Usher has two sons from his previous relationship. His sons are Usher V and Naviyd Ely, who he shares with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster. Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Show performance treated the audience to a medley of his chart-topping hits.
The setlist had several crowd favorites. This Included “Caught Up,” “Burn,” “U Got It Bad,” “Confession Part II,” “Love In This Club.” and many more. Adding more spice to his performance, he shared the stage with celebrity friends.
The collaboration started with Alicia Key for a soulful mashup of “If I Ain’t Got You” and “My Boo.” Furthermore, the performance became even more electrifying when H.E.R. delivered a jaw-dropping guitar solo, leaving the audience in awe.

He stated, “People will tune in for a football game. But I hope when they look at the halftime performance, I’m hoping they walk away with something that’s healing them. Something that makes them feel hopeful and not just look at the past. However, have hope for the future, and have hope for a different type of future than we’re looking at right now in the present.”
He noted that the tracklisting includes collaborations such as “Coming Home” featuring Burna Boy and “Good Good” with Summer Walker and 21 Savage. Other tracks featured in the performance are “Cold Blooded” with The-Dream, “Kissing Strangers,” “Keep on Dancin,” and “Risk It All.”
Additionally, he has “Ruin” with Pheelz, “Bop,” “Stone Kold Freak,” “On The Side,” and “Standing Next To You (Remix)” featuring Jungkook.
