Matthew Perry noted that it may be further amended occasionally in the will. “This is to be held, administered, and distributed according to its terms, including any amendments hereafter made to the Trust during my lifetime.”

Following the actor’s death, an autopsy revealed he passed from an acute effect of ketamine. According to reports, Matthew Perry was “clean for 19 months” and was on ketamine infusion therapy. His latest treatment occurred nearly two weeks before his death.
However, the coroner noted that the ketamine in his system at death could not be from that infusion therapy. Since ketamine’s half-life is 3 to 4 hours or less, the coroner determined he had an excess supply of the substance in his system.

Ketamine Side Effects
At the high levels of ketamine found in his postmortem blood specimens, the main lethal effects would be from both cardiovascular overstimulation and respiratory depression. The medical examiner, Raffi Djabourian, explained.
Perry’s blood ketamine levels were 3,540 ng/ml in peripheral blood and 3,271 ng/ml in central blood. The medical examiner explained that a blood ketamine level of 1,000 – 6,000 ng/ml would be normal for a patient under general anesthetic in a hospital.

Also, drowning contributes to the likelihood of submersion into the pool as he lapses into unconsciousness. Coronary artery disease contributes to the worsening of ketamine-induced myocardial effects on the heart.
Buprenorphine consequences are listed as contributory, even though not at toxic levels. This is due to the additive respiratory effects present with high levels of ketamine. In conclusion, the actor who played Chandler Bing died at the age of 54.
Los Angeles medical examiner later declared that he died from the acute effects of ketamine. According to an autopsy report, the high levels of ketamine found in Perry’s blood at the time of his death likely caused him to drown.
