The Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen and renowned basketball player Marcus Jordan are officially over!
The announcement comes after the two unfollowed each other on Instagram and removed all photos of each other from their accounts over the weekend. Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s relationship has been a hot topic for quite some time, amidst their recent breakup, subsequent reconciliation, and “checks notes” of the latest split.
The former UCF basketball player and Larsa first made headlines because of their 16-year age difference. Larsa was previously married to basketball star Scottie Pippen, also a former team member of Marcus’s dad, Michael Jordan. These details “shocked” the Jordans, but in the end, they said Larsa was “great” and gave their stamp of approval.

Marcus and Larsa unfollowed each other and wiped their Instagram accounts of all traces of each other. While there’s no official announcement yet, reports suggest the reality TV star and her beau have gone their separate ways.
The pair first met in 2019 but officially got together in January 2023. They co-hosted the Separation Anxiety podcast and competed against each other on Peacock’s reality TV series “The Traitors.”

Speculations on the Separation
The two had a pretty rocky romance, and ultimately, they decided it was time to call it quits. However, it’s impossible to say we’ll never see these two together again, especially considering their track record of being on and off.
Larsa Pippen, 49, and Marcus, 33, haven’t been on speaking terms since the split, and they’re both focused on doing their own thing. The signs were there: Larsa and Marcus unfollowed each other recently, and the oft-paparazzi duo hadn’t been shot in public together in weeks.
Of course, many considered the coupling odd. After winning six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls, Marcus’ father, Michael Jordan, and Larsa’s ex-husband, Scottie Pippen, have had a longstanding feud.
Also, Larsa is a decade and a half older than Marcus. Michael voiced his displeasure over the relationship back in July 2023. Marcus insisted his father was joking, but many folks didn’t believe it.
How Does Marcus’ Father Feel About the Relationship?
Michael had been asked about the relationship and whether he was in favor of it. The iconic NBA star initially laughed and then said, “No.” Michael has been a vocal critic of the relationship, partly due to the age difference. Marcus seemingly referred to his father publicly supporting the split, writing, “I search one name and end up seeing 20 things.”
He added the inscription “MJX2” about his matching initials with his father, who wore a brown cap with an off-white top in the picture, as the family watched the Super Bowl together.
Separation Anxiety
Larsa Pippen and Marcus have their iHeartRadio podcast, “Separation Anxiety,” which debuted in June 2023. It was not immediately clear if the podcast would continue in the wake of their apparent split, and their most recent podcast was posted in November.
After Michael openly criticized their relationship, Larsa Pippen and Marcus addressed his remarks on their podcast. While Larsa felt the basketball legend meant it, Marcus said he was amused. Also, he argued that he didn’t think Michael meant harm with the remark.

Larsa’s Thoughts on Michael’s Response
Larsa said she “didn’t think it was funny” and saw “nothing funny about it.” “I do understand that it’s not awkward for us to be together ’cause it’s us,” she said. “But it probably is awkward for my ex and your dad.”
The pair were first spotted together in September 2022. They initially swore they were just “friends” before ultimately caving in and admitting they were, in fact, a couple.
Larsa Pippen stated that she realized she had romantic feelings for Marcus when she got jealous of him talking to another girl. “I think it was one night we went out, and there was a girl there,” she said.
“She was trying to talk to him, and I was getting jealous over it,” she told the publication. “And it was weird because I’m not the jealous person, but I was jealous over the situation.” She added, “And then, I was thinking maybe I like him. That kind of sealed the deal.”
