Every look she wore during the tour of her recent movie, “The Idea of You,” has left fans breathless. In less than 24 hours, Anne Hathaway was seen in three killer outfits to promote her movie. Just before the movie premiere, the Oscar-award-winning actor Anne Hathaway promoted her upcoming rom-com movie on The Tonight Show on April 29.
She wore wide-leg pants, black platform sandal heels, and a sheer black Fleur du Mal bustier top lined with crystals for the show. She added a thin silver necklace and a few rings to match her outfit. Hathaway left her hair tied in a ponytail, with straight bangs highlighting her face.

The movie premiere for “The Idea of You” happened on the same day and was hosted at Lincoln Center in New York City. Anne Hathaway worked on her outfit with her longtime stylist, Erin Walsh. The movie actor went for a red Versace gown with sculptural cutouts. The dress featured a thigh-high slit, cutouts under the bust with cups at the bust. The strapless dress was also made in a way that it outlined Hathaway’s waist.
Hathway wore red heels, diamond rings, and emerald drop earrings to match the dress. For her face, she didn’t have makeup on. She settled for a peach blush, lip combo, and eyeliner for her eyes. The outfit Anne Hathaway wore on April 29 wasn’t the only one she wore for the tour. On April 28, she wore a chic all-white ensemble, and later, she wore a blue midi tube dress.

Anne Hathaway Shares How She Feels About Being the Lead Act in the Movie
During the premiere, Hathaway shared how she feels about being part of the movie with “Good Morning America.” She said, “I was honored to be asked to play Soléne.” “Producer Gabrielle Union and Cathy Schulman are a pretty big deal,” she added.
Hathaway was so excited to be part of the movie because it was her first streaming movie, and it was made with so much love. According to Hathaway, “This one, we really made it for everyone and to just feel everyone love it, I hadn’t had that feeling quite in that same way since ‘The Princess Diaries.'”
Hathaway also explained why the character Soléne means so much to her. “At the beginning of the film, the character… she’s really scared of going on that adventure because she’s had such a rough experience with her ex-husband. And to me, I was incredibly moved by the opportunity to tell the story of a woman blooming,” Hathaway said.

“I don’t know why we don’t have more stories about human beings blooming at any age. We’re always coming of age, all the time,” she added. Hathaway has received a lot of criticism from fans about why she took on the role, especially since she won an Oscar. Fans’ comments didn’t mean anything to Hathaway.
In one of her interviews, she clarified that she didn’t “want to be pigeonholed and doesn’t want to be placed in a box of what type of films she has to be making because of my age, gender and because she won an Oscar.” “It speaks to me,” she said.

“The Idea of You” was produced by Gabrielle Union and Cathy Schulman. On the red carpet, Hathaway said she “was really honored to be asked” to star as Soléne in the movie. The rom-com movie is based on a book written and directed by Robin Lee and Michael Showalter. Anne Hathaway plays Soléne, a divorced mum with a daughter in the film.
Soléne attends Coachella, where she meets Hayes Campbell, with whom she begins a romantic relationship. Nicholas Galitzine was played by Hayes Campbell. Their relationship faced much criticism, especially because Campbell was younger than Soléne. “The Idea of You” is now available on Prime Video.
